The Life of Joseph Stalin

Here we have a man that is cruel, heartless, and the most monstrous
man ever lived. This man is Joseph Stalin; a man responsible for killing
forty-million people. Stalin had three branches of life: His traumatizing
childhood, his rise to power, and his fall to death.

Joseph Stalins birth name was Iosif Vissarionvich Dzhugashuili. Stalin

was born on December 18, 1879. He was born in a very small town of Gori
located in the Southern side of the Russian Empire. Stalin was the only one
that has lived past infancy out of his four other siblings. Stalins father was
Vissarion Dzhugashvili. He was a heavy drinker and abused Stalin many
times until he turned five when Vissarion left his wife when he failed to
become a craftsman. Stalins mother, Ketevan Geldze, then had to find
work at a factory to support her child, Stalin. During his childhood, he was
known by the other kids to be very short for his age. This lead to Stalin
obsessed with wanting to be in control and need for being very violent.

In 1902, Stalin joined the Social Democratic Labour Party. On the 18th of
April, 1902, Stalin was arrested after organizing a strike in Batum at the
large Rothschild plant. After a year and a half of being in prison, he was
exiled to Siberia. After a while, he decided to escape from Siberia, return to
Russia, and started organizing striked. Vladimir Lenin acknowledged
Stalins accomplishments in 1905 and invited Stalin to meet him. He was
soon arrested again and exiled again to North Siberia for a lifetime. A new
Prime Minister, Alex Kerensky, allowed all political prisoners to return to
their homes. Soon after, Lenin returned with the support of Germany which
helped him gain power of Russia. In 1917, Lenin became the leader of the
soviet Union til death. during the time when Lenin was still in power, Stalin
ranked up on the party ladder. This enabled Stalin to give his allies
government jobs and develop a bond of political support. with this power he
won the struggle for control of the Communist Party. By the late 1920s,
Stalin became dictator of the Soviet Union.

Stalin wanted to transform the Soviet Union into an industrial superpower

from a peasant society. His plan of development was focused on a
government control of the economy and included the forced collectivization
of Soviet agriculture, in which the government took control of farm. Anyone

who denied co-operation with Stalins orders were either killed or exiled.
Because of the forced collectivization there was a famine that spread
throughout the Soviet Union; A genocide that killed millions of people. Stalin
then decided to create the Great Purge. They were various campaigns that
are used to dispose of the Communist Party, the military and anything in
the Soviet Society he saw as a threat. Stalin signed a nonaggression pact
with Adolf Hitler in 1939 during World War II. Stalin then started to annex
various places in Europe and invaded Finland. After this, Germany broke
the pact between Germany and Russia. Germany invaded Russia. The
Battle of Stalingrad had begun. From 1942 - 1943 the Red Army defeated
the Germans and ran them out of Russia. After World War II, Stalin lead
Soviet Union into an atomic age. Stalin then guided North Korea and gave
them the lead to invade the United States thus triggering the Korean War.
Three years later, Stalin died from a stroke due to paranoia.

Stalin lived a sad life from the start. He took out his hatred for mankind
on mankind. Beyond the good and evil, what he did he did for himself to
prove himself to others. He wanted to prove he still isnt the small boy from
when he was five. He went on his whole life hurting other people which in

turn only hurt himself. Joseph Stalin hated the world and did anything to rid
people he did not like, yes, but did it to reflect what the world did to him.
