Setting Permissions
You can set permissions that allow employees to access ADP Mobile Solutions features
from their mobile devices in ADP Workforce Now. The permissions you set apply to both
the smartphone and tablet apps.
Note: ADP Mobile Solutions is automatically activated for all of your employees. If you
would like to limit access to some or all features for selected employees, you should
assign them to custom profiles groups in ADP Workforce Now. To set permissions for
Managers, see Manager Features on page 6.
For information about creating profiles and assigning users to a profile, refer to the ADP
Workforce Now online help topics Adding a Custom Profile and Adding Profile Members.
Starting Point: Setup > Security > Access Permissions > Menu Access
1 On the Profiles page, in the left side navigation area, select profile group to which the
user group is assigned, for instance, Employee.
Note: ADP Mobile Solutions Employee functionality can be assigned to user groups in any
profile group, not just the Employee profile group. Refer to the ADP Workforce Now online
help topics Adding a Custom Profile and Adding Profile Members for more information.
2 From the Profiles section, select the user group for which you want to set permissions.
3 Select ADP Mobile Solutions tab.
4 In the ADP Mobile Solutions section, select or clear the check boxes for the features
you want employees to access on their mobile devices. Only the features that are
enabled by your company and available for mobile access will be visible on the Springboard. Features include:

tax statements (W-2 and 1099) for previous years for each company that uses ADP
payroll processing.
Note: Your employees will have the option to receive push notifications when their
pay statements become available. Users will be asked to opt-in on their mobile device;
there is no set up task in ADP WorkforceNow. Available for iPhone and Android users,
compatibility for other devices is planned for future releases.

name, balance, and goal amount. They can view their last three payments, claims,
