Describe student daily duties: The ideals candidates for a position with our company will possess high
standards, be willing to work hard and with pride, and be willing to learn. An ability and desire to work
unsupervised (but not without direction) is required. Candidate should also be able to work with others
and should, in general be of a cheerful, flexible, cooperative nature. Raises may be possible based on
outstanding performance and demonstrated ability to take on a broad range of duties and responsibility
(but are also tied to lodging occupancy). An ability to be flexible is a must. During the 3 peak season
months (June, July, Aug), you can easily expect to work between 32 and 35 hours a week (7 days), and
can often put in even more hours if desired (however, please note that we are small enough that we are
not required to pay an overtime rate; hours over 40 in a week are paid at the normal hourly rate).
Days off are not guaranteed during this period (June, July, Aug); although we make every effort to
provide one (1) day off each week, given the extreme unpredictability of the lodging and hospitality
industry it is not always possible; in that case a day may be given. It is also important to note that it is
rarely the same day off each week; and that it is also possible to have 2 days off in a row occasionally
(but no promises on that). Hours worked are normally 8am 4pm (approximately); Evenings are
normally free; On light work days it may be possible to do additional housekeeping during the daytime
nearby. Superior work performance usually result in additional income in the form of tips. We use
human friendly cleaning products and provide a most pleasant working environment. We provide an
apron uniform, indoor footwear to be worn while cleaning cabins, work gloves if needed, etc. We strive
to create a pleasant comfortable work environment, and our employees happiness and well being are
of great concern to us.
Minimum requirements: A good working knowledge of the language (English ~8), both written and
spoken. Physical ability to clean cabins and rooms. 1 student from mid of May and 1 student from mid of
June needed
This includes but is not limited to bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying (30 lbs. or so), as is required to clean
bathroom, kitchenette, change and make beds, dust, vacuum, remove trash, sweep porches, clean
windows (step stool only, no ladder work), generally all the steps necessary to prepare a spotless,
properly stocked, room or cabin for our guests. This is a physically demanding, (fast paced job during
the peak season months), requiring someone with lots of energy and in good physical condition.
Applicants with bad backs, or physical limitations prohibiting bending, kneeling, lifting, carrying,
stooping, etc., need not apply.

there is also an employee vehicle available (which must be shared).
Accommodation: FREE, however it is expected that upon departure it will be cleaned and left in proper
order ~ if not, a cleaning fee may be imposed). Housing is provided for workers only and may be shared,
depending on staffing, but each employee will have private bedroom. Housing location is short walk
from work in nice quiet spot, Hobbit Loft has 2 private bedrooms and shared living area with kitchenette

same clean condition as they found it. Each student has private bedroom. There is also a nice garden
area outside with a BBQ grill picnic table and small fire pit.

Describe student daily duties: MPG position requires a person to be good with their hands, to fix,
secure or repair things. Time will be spent helping the housekeepers with stocking supplies, laundry etc.;
taking care of three pools, whirlpools and surrounding facilities. Painting, gardening, mowing lawns and
policing the premises and beach to keep clean and presentable are among the many diverse duties of
this position. Experience in construction work and pool maintenance is a plus. HOUSEKEEPER
Responsible to clean 10-12 efficiency rooms per day. Cleaning includes but is not limited to making beds,
vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, sanitizing kitchen and baths. Duties will include laundry service,
cleaning common areas and rental homes. Cleaning stations and duties will be assigned based on your
skill level determined by your supervisor.
The best backround for this is working with their hands on a job site. Students that have worked on
construction sites at home to be the best suited to working with their hands, lifting and cleaning things.
Experience in the field OR in USA. Experience in construction work and pool maintenance is a plus.
