An economy with more jobs, better jobs and better lives for all workers in
the region - union and non-union - is vital for the long-term health of
San Diego. Our livelihoods depend on having a City Council that makes
economic health and justice top priorities for the city.
We introduce the Working Families Report Card to ensure that all
San Diegans know how their City Council is representing them.
It examines votes since the current council took office after the 2010
election, highlighting votes that were particularly important for
San Diego's working families. Our City is strongest when all workers are
empowered, and the Report Card provides a tool to help people be better
informed voters and more effective advocates for their communities.
