Burton College 09/2011 to. 07/2013
Mullarkeys (Fish and tackle) 10/2012 to. 06/2013
Roles included talking to customers about purchases and products, placing items on the
website/Amazon/eBay and Photoshop work for leaflets/flyers.
University of Nottingham - 09/2013 to. 7/2015
I attended Nottingham University for two years and enjoyed myself for a large portion of
this, during my time here I had learned some new things but felt as though I wasn't learning
as much as I could. As time went on I decided that I didn't enjoy a majority of what the
course was teaching and departed to gain some experience programming in the industry.

Blue Crystal Solutions - 05/09/2015 to. 21/12/2015

I went to Blue Crystal as an apprentice software developer to gain some experience, it was
catered towards those with no previous experience programming before and was set with a 3
month trial. My original duty was to learn .NET and mainly answer phone calls but was
quickly moved to developing their android application Driver-I, during the three months I
was given requirements and had to work closely with the lead developer as he had designed
the web API from which I had to use. I took over the android project as a sole responsibility
and thoroughly enjoyed the work, even though I knew Java I had little real experience
programming android applications using XML but quickly familiarised myself with this.
Nearing the end of December I had completed the application but was unfortunately let go.
