Employment Contract

Geum Ryong Restaurant: Kitchen Staff Trainer:

This agreement is made and entered into this 1st day of March by and
between the Leslie Tango Abuan and Choi Dong Chul , who is for
consideration set out to undertake and act as the Cook Trainer for Geum
Ryong Restaurant (Golden Dragon) located at Ground Floor EDY
Building, Kisad Road, Baguio City.
It is understood and agreed upon that the services of the Kitchen Staff
Trainer under this agreement for employment shall begin the first day of
January 2016 and shall terminate no later than the last day of the
January 2017.
I.

Responsibilities and Duties

A. As part of his Service contributions to development, the Kitchen
Staff Trainer shall be responsible for demonstrating and
teaching to the Chief Cook and other pertinent staff of Geum
Ryong all skills and responsibilities required in running food
services focused on Chinese cuisine.
B. The Kitchen Staff Trainer shall likewise be responsible for
preparing a menu and teaching the staff how to select and order
food with the aid of the proprietor.
C. He shall be assist in training staff in the general upkeep and
maintenance of the kitchen, these responsibilities include but
are not limited to:

Coordinating with each crew chief in designating

duties of each crew.
Ensuring that the dishwasher has adequate amounts
of detergent and rinse shine.
Washing utensils, pots and pans as needed for
immediate use.

D. Under this contract between the Kitchen Staff Trainer and the
proprietor, only Geum Ryong crew shall be responsible for
actual preparation and serving of meals as well as doing
acceptable cleanup afterwards.
II.

Hours of Work
A. It is understood and agreed upon that his presence shall be
required during official hours of the establishment from Monday
through Saturday.

B. It is also understood that he will receive two (2) days off a

month at his own discretion, providing that meal plans for the
restaurant are given in full to persons who shall take charge on
those days
C. He is expected to oversee the work of others on any additional
hours as needed by Geum Ryong Restaurant.
III.

Absences and Attendance

A. In the event that Geum Ryong would need to contact him, a
means to reach the Kitchen Staff Trainer should be provided by
the same.

IV.

Salary
A. Wages will be decided between the parties involved.
B. In consideration for services rendered, a salary of
________________ for every two weeks shall be payable, less any
mandated deductions.
C. The first payment shall be due and payable at the end of the
second week of the January 2016 and subsequent payments at
two (2) week intervals until the end of the contract term.

V.

Termination and Renewal

A. It is understood and agreed upon that this agreement may be
terminated by the restaurant with fifteen (15) days notice.
B. It is also understood and agreed upon that this agreement may
be terminated by the Kitchen Staff Trainer with fifteen (15) days
notice to the proprietor of Geum Ryong
C. This agreement can be renewed each year by the presentation
of the newly written agreement by the end of the previous
contract.
D. The Kitchen Staff Trainer may accept the new agreement by
signing it and returning it to the the proprietor of Geum Ryong
E. If the renewed agreement is not signed and returned, the
agreement is considered terminated as of the end of the agreed
terms of the present agreement.
