Work Experience (2.5 Years)

Working in Western India Forgings Pvt. Ltd, as a Jr. Production Planning and
Control Engineer from June 2013till date.
Western India Forging is an ISO/TS 16949: 2002,API 20B Certified Company. It
manufactures Forging Components for Automobile companies like Volvo, Atlas Copco,
M&M,Alfa Laval, Tata Motors,Shanthi Gears,Elecon,JVS,Alstom India,AnditzHydro,valveworks,
etc.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Over 2 year& 9 months of experience in planning & production related activities.

Production planning and execution according to availability of Manpower, RM

availability and urgency.

Communication with customer and marketing person for ON TIME DELIVERY.

Controlling raw material along with all related documents.

Preparation of monthly and weekly production plan according to equipment

availability.

Releasing PR for RM procurement.

Inventory & Stock Reconciliation, Consumption & yard audit as and when needed.

Working with CFT for new product development

Controlling HT processes according to customer urgency.

Preparation of sales plan for month and execute along with dispatch team

Prepare MIS, API, ISO, MRM documentation.

Worked with cutting shop, 3T hammer, 5T hammer,10T& 16T hammers and

2500T,4000T press.

Involved in 5S and Kaizen activities.

Highlights

In-charge of Cutting shop.

Improvement in capacity of cutting shop from 40 tons per day to 50 tons per day.

Change in color code system in yard to reduce material mixup.

Reduction in material handling by using pallet systematically & change in Layout.
