Submission of following documents/ evidence in


case the imported aircraft is new one:
a) Engineering description of the aircraft with
required illustration;
b) A statement by an authorised representative of
the manufacturer to the effect that all pertinent
informations, modifications, service bulletins
and subsequent revisions to such bulletins will
automatically distributed to DGCA;
c) Statement of Build/ Modification standard;
d) MRB report;
e) Seating configuration approved document
(transport category aircraft as appropriate);
f) List of radio communication and navigation
equipment installed, including make and model,
frequencies, operating instructions etc;
g) Copy of Noise Certificate ( for turbojet/
turboprop engine);
h) Certification basis for ETOPS operation if the
aircraft is certified for such operation;
i) Copy of Weight schedule and weighing report;
j) Availability of valid Flight Release Certificate.

Submission of following documents/ evidence in


case the imported aircraft is used one:
a) Maintenance program to which the aircraft has

been previously maintained including;


Previous check cycle;
Future check cycle;
Compliance with DGCA mandatory mods.
b) Date and type of last inspection schedule carried
out .
c)

Inspection schedule carried out in connection


with issue of C of A.

d) Component overhaul life summary including


details of service life remaining and modification
status;
e) Compliance with structural inspection program
including the details of any structural sampling
program in which the aircraft has been included,
together with details of their position in this
program.
f) All reports relating to any accident/ incident in
which the aircraft might have been involved
with a copy of the report of Civil Aviation
Authority.
g) Record of any major repair/ overhaul/
replacement carried out as a result of any
accident/ incident.

Manufacturer/ CAA approved date of manufacture


of aircraft.
Scrutiny of original log books in respect of Aircraft,
Engine, Propeller & Radio Apparatus with record of
of modifications/ AD compliance.
Certificate of First Aid/ Physician Kit.
Certificate from Operations/ Q.C Department of
operator that the Flight Manual (if applicable) is
current and up-to-date. Latest amendment/ revision
number.
Record of compass swinging.
T.B.O. of components within limit.

Test flight report/ Production flight test report.


Erection certificate signed by an appropriately
licensed/ Authorised/ approved persons in case the
aircraft is imported in dismantled condition.
Weight and Balance document giving the details of
weight of the aircraft, its centre of gravity location.

PHYSICAL INSPECTION OF AIRCRAFT

repair in the airframe/ engine and quality of repair.

Check tyres, brakes, landing gears.

3.

Check engine inlet, fan blades, outlets, open the


cowling and check for oil leaks.

4.

Check the condition of propeller (if installed) and


also condition of the yellow paint on propeller tips.

5.

Check fuel tanks for any leakage.

6.

Check the condition of flaps/ aileron/ stabilizers for


any dent delamination etc.

7.

Check the condition of pitot/ AOA probes and


cleanliness of static ports.

8.

Check the condition of static dischargers/ wicks.

9.

Check condition of Radome.

Check evidence of over rotation.

11.

Check any evidence of toilet fluid leakage.

12.

Check for any hydraulic fluid leakage.

13.

Check for any evidence of pneumatic leaks from


doors, windows etc.

Check APU( if installed) compartment for any


leakage of hydraulic fluid/ oil leakage.

15.

Check for any missing rivets, fasteners, peeling of


paint.

16.

Check for any evidence of corrosion, hydraulic fluid


leak in wheel well area.

17.

Check cleanliness of wheel well area.

18.

Check the cleanliness of aircraft.

19.

Painting of registration markings and aircraft weight


out side of the aircraft.

Installation of owner name plate.

Operations of various systems such as flaps, undercarriage, ailerons, rudder etc.(as applicable).
Operations of external lights such as navigation,
anticollision, landing/taxing, strobe lights etc.
Condition of de-icer boots and satisfactory operation

AIRCRAFT INTERIOR
1.

Check escape slide-chute bottle pressure( if


applicable).

2.

Check condition of cabin crew seat (if applicable).

3.

Check seat belts for condition and seats for


satisfactory operation of inclination, as applicable.

4.

Check that FASTEN SEAT BELT WHILE


SEATED sign and NO SMOKING sign are
displayed in proper place.

5.

Check life vests, as applicable.

6.

Check that seats are provided with fire blocking


materials.

7.

Check serviceability of emergency escape path


markings/ lights.

8.

Check the condition of hat racks.

9.

Check reclining mechanism of seats.

10.

Check that emergency exit doors are properly

Check that all passenger seats are provided with


PASSENGER BRIEFING CARD.

12.

Check First aid/ Physician kits.

13.

Check portable oxygen/ fire extinguisher bottles,


megaphone, etc. as applicable.

calling system/ PA system.

15.

Check toilets for satisfactory operation of toilet


motor, smoke warning system, and display of NO
SMOKING placard.

16.

Check for proper operation of toilet door.

COCKPIT
1.

Check for satisfactory


windows, if applicable.

Sign of over heating;

Weather Radar ( in test mode),
GPWS;
ACAS;
VHF communication;
ADF;
VOR;
Master Warning and Caution lights and System
annunciators
ELT;
Electrical operation of cargo doors.

Check for free and full movements of flight &


engine controls.
