These tables list E-Lab qualified specific versions or ranges for EMC Unified VNXe3300/3200/3150/3100.
Table 1 lists the supported platforms in a VNXe operating environment. Table 2 lists the minimum versions needed for VNXe
applications. Table 3 lists Web browser support for Unisphere. Table 4 lists capacity limits. Table 5 lists replication limits.
Table 6 and Table 7 describe what types and how many 2U DAEs can be used in either a dual SP VNXe3100 platform or in a
single SP VNXe 3100 platform. Table 8 and Table 9 describe what types and how many 2U DAEs can be used in either a dual SP
VNXe3150 platform or in a single SP VNXe 3150 platform. Table 10 provides a matrix describing how many DAEs can be used in
a VNXe3300platform. Table 11 provides a matrix describing how many DAEs can be used in a VNXe3200 platform.

Table 1 VNXe operating environment v2.3.1 is the minimum requirement to support the following features (Page 2 of 2)
Legend:
Table 1 footnotes:
a. Microsoft Support For settings, refer to EMC knowledgebase solution emc000191294, Configuring MPIO on Windows Server 2008/
2012.
b. PowerPath and Native MPIO support applies only to storage provided via the ISCSI protocol. CIFS and NFS do not use the multipath
failover software on a server that contains storage provided via CIFS, NFS, and iSCSI protocols.
c. MAC OS X 10.10 and earlier is supported for CIFS client connectivity in switched environments only. Advanced services (e.g., Replication,
etc.) are not supported.
d. VNXe3200 supported on Citrix XenServer 6.0 and higher.
e. VMware ESX/ESXi 4.0 and 4.1 are not supported on VNXe3200.
f. Version and kernel specific.
g. VxVM is only supported with Fibre Channel attach.
h. PowerPath is only supported with the VNXe 3200.
i. This operating system is currently EOL. All corresponding configurations are frozen. It may no longer be publicly supported by the
operating system vendor and will require an extended support contract from the operating system vendor in order for the configuration
listed in the ESSM to be supported by EMC. It is highly recommended the customer upgrade the server to an ESSM-supported
configuration.
j. All released updates of VMware ESX/ESXi versions are supported unless specified by another footnote. Please contact the server vendor
for the update level required for a specific server.
Note: The EMC Support Matrix, located at https://elabnavigator.emc.com, indicates which operating systems (OS) have been tested.
Support for other operating systems are strictly based on generic protocol support by the native OS.
Note: Direct host-attach configurations are supported on VNXe3200 only for FC and iSCSI.
Note: For specialized and end of life configurations, refer to https://elabnavigator.emc.com/eln/extendedSupport.
Table 2 lists the versions of application software tested and supported by VNXe. OS platform support can be found on the
vendors website.

Note: Requires the Remote Protection Pack and the Application Protection Pack for all iSCSI LUN replications.
Footnotes:
a. Requires an RPQ if the replication target is a VNX. CIFS and NFS do not require RPQ.
b. VDM, FLR-C, Multi-protocol Filesystems, NFSv4, FileMover, and Local Quotas are not supported on VNXe.
In Table 6 through Table 10, the letter X in the matrix indicates that there is no 2U DAE available (supported) beyond that point. In
Table 6 through Table the Total column in shows the total number of disks available (supported) using a combination of the 2U DPE
and the 2U DAE for that particular configuration.
