Petitioner, THOMAS E. PEREZ, Secretary of Labor, United States Department of Labor


(Petitioner), filed a Second Motion for Alternative Service.1 Upon review and consideration of
the matters set forth in the Petitioners Motion, IT IS HEREBY:
ORDERED that the Secretary be permitted to serve Defendant Fundamentalist Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, incorporated and doing business as and acting through the
Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints and the Corporation of the President of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of

Latter-Day Saints (the FLDS Church) by alternative service of process of the Summons and
Complaint. The Secretary shall be permitted to serve Defendant FLDS Church via personal
service on Defendant Lyle Jeffs, the bishop of the FLDS Church. Plaintiff shall include a copy of
his Motion and this Order with the Summons and Complaint to notify Mr. Jeffs that he is being
served on behalf of Defendant FLDS Church.
IT IS SO ORDERED.
