POPE ADRIAN VI

“The coming of a world state is longed for by all the worst

and most distorted elements. This [Ed. Note: one-world] state,
based on the principles of absolute equality of men and a
community of possessions, would banish all national loyalties.
In it no acknowledgment would be made of the authority of a
father over his children, or of God over human society. If these
[Ed. Note: one-world government] ideas are put into practice,
there will inevitably follow a reign of unheard-of terror.” (In

POPE BONIFACE VIII (1235? – 1303; pope: 1294-1303)  

“We declare, affirm, and define as a truth necessary for

salvation that every human being is subject to the Roman
Pontiff [i.e., the Pope of Rome].” (1302)  

((Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: This type of statement is

the height of ecclesiastical tyranny! It also shows a complete
contempt for the Holy Bible, which nowhere tells us that a
requirement for our salvation is to be “subject to the Roman
Pontiff”. The Lord Jesus Christ alone is the head of the “body
of Christ” – the Christian Church, and not some fallible human
pretender to the throne!))

POPE CLEMENT XIV (pope: 1769-1774) 

“…That the name of the company [i.e., the Society of Jesus

– the Jesuits] shall be, and is forever extinguished and
suppressed… [This Papal Decree of Suppression shall] forever
and to all eternity be valid, permanent, and efficacious.” (From
his Papal Decree of ‘Suppression’ banning the Jesuits in 1773) ((A
number of authors claim that this decree was a Papal Bull – and
the Catholic Church claims it was a ‘Brief” – no matter which it
was, a Catholic pope officially banned this Catholic Order for all
eternity!))

((Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: The suppression and the

subsequent abolition of the Jesuits did not last “to all eternity”.
Less than 50 years later, the Jesuits were “reinstated” (some
believe, by force). Pope Clement XIV had done a four-year
investigation into the workings of the Jesuits. He listed eleven
other popes who had tried to curb the excesses of this society.
Fourteen months after issuing his Papal Decree suppressing the
Jesuits, Pope Clement XIV was assassinated by them.))

“We have remarked to our deep regret that our admonitions

to them [i.e., the Jesuits] to serve God and not to mix
themselves up with other matters, especially secular and
political, as well as many other measures, have been almost
powerless and of no effect. …Our predecessors had to undergo
much vexation on that account. Pope Innocent XI, driven by
necessity, went so far as to forbid the society [of Jesus – i.e., the
Jesuit Order] to receive and invest novices. …Further, [Pope]
Innocent XIII was compelled to threaten them [i.e., the Jesuits]
with the same punishment, and [Pope] Benedict XIV closed the
visitation of the inspection of the houses and colleges in the
dominion of…the most faithful King of Portugal…”

“…We abolish and do away with forever their [i.e., the

Jesuits’] statutes, habits and customs, decrees and Constitutions,
even when sealed by oath or Apostolical Confirmation: so that
from this day hence the ‘Society of Jesus’ no longer exists.”
(1773)

“Alas, I knew they [i.e., the Jesuits] would poison me; but I
did not expect to die in so slow and cruel a manner.” (1774)

POPE GREGORY XIII (1502-1585; pope: 1572-1585) 

“Since that guilty woman of England [Ed. Note: i.e., Queen

Elizabeth I] rules over two such noble Kingdoms of Christendom,
and is the cause of so much injury to the Catholic Faith [Ed.
Translation: is causing loss of income to the Catholic hierarchy],
and loss of so many million souls, there is no doubt that
whosoever sends her out the world with the pious intention of
doing God service, not only does not sin but gains merit,
especially having regard to the sentence pronounced against her
by [Pope] Pius V of holy memory. And so, if those English nobles
decide actually to undertake so glorious a work [Ed. Translation:
murdering the queen of England], your Lordship can assure them
that they do not commit any sin.” (December 12, 1580)

((Ed. Comments to the preceding quote: 

1. Almighty GOD, and He alone, determines what sin is, and is

not. His Holy Word spells out for us exactly what sin is. For this
mere mortal, sinful man (even though he takes upon himself the
title of the Vicar of Christ) to even suggest that murdering this
woman would not be a sin is not only sick, but it also shows a
terrible ignorance of God’s Holy Bible. 

2. Pope Gregory XIII, with the above words, is not only

advocating and sanctioning the attempted assassination of Queen
Elizabeth I of England, but also encouraging such an action by
passing along an assurance that those performing “so glorious a
work…do not commit any sin”.))

POPE GREGORY XVI 

“The unrestrained freedom of thinking and of openly

making known one’s thoughts is not inherent in the rights of
citizens and is by no means worthy of favor and support.”

POPE INNOCENT III (1161-1216; pope: 1198-1216)  

“Every cleric must obey the Pope, even if he commands

what is evil; for no one may judge the Pope.” ((Ed. Comment:
Almighty GOD may, can, and will judge all popes!))

POPE JOHN VIII  

“We confidently reply that those who shall die in battle

fighting bravely against pagans or unbelievers shall receive
eternal life.”

((Ed. Comments to the preceding quote:  

(1) Almighty GOD alone decides who will and will not receive
“eternal life”. No pope or other man can promise men “eternal
life” for deeds done on behalf of a religious institution!  

(2) These false promises of “eternal life”, forgiveness of sins, etc.,

were used by popes to get the most vile criminals (to include
murderers, rapists, etc.) to “sign up” for crusades to slaughter
and butcher innocent Moslems and Jews (men, women, and
children) with a savagery often exceeding that of the most
barbaric pagans! Popes also launched crusades against non-
Catholic Christians, such as the Albigenses in South France –
again, slaughtering and butchering innocent men, women, and
children with the blessings of a number of popes!

(3) The “formula” for “eternal life” as spelled out in the Holy Bible
is this:

·        Truly repenting of one’s sins.

·        Truly submitting oneself under the lordship of Jesus

Christ, the Son of God.

·        Daily “denying self”, “taking up one’s cross”, and

producing godly “fruit” through righteous living.

·        Obeying God’s commands as found in the Holy Bible.

·        Remaining faithful to the Lord Jesus Christ till the very
end of one’s life.))

“By the end of this decade (A.D. 2000) we will live under the
first one-world government that has ever existed in the society of
nations...a government with absolute authority to decide the
basic issues of human survival.

“Rome [i.e., the Vatican] must always be the center of all

Christianity and the pope must be the head.”

“Now we hope that none of you will be slain, but we wish

you to know that the Kingdom of Heaven will be given as a
reward to those who shall be killed in this war.”  

((Ed. Comments to the preceding quote:

Ridley Scott’s film “Kingdom of Heaven” (2005) that deals with
that time in history when Christian crusaders held Jerusalem, I
most highly recommend that you view it. This movie clearly
shows the “ugly side” of organized religion – and its role in
inciting “holy war”.))

POPE PAUL VI (pope: 1963-1978)  

“Who can fail to see the need and importance of thus

gradually coming to the establishment of a world authority
capable of taking effective action on the juridical and political
planes? ...Delegates to international organizations, public
officials, gentlemen of the press, teachers and educators – all of
you must realize that you have your part to play in the
construction of a new world order.” (In Populorum Progressio,
1967) 

((Ed. Comment: Please read the earlier quote by Pope Benedict

XV, who strongly disagrees with Pope Paul VI on the “New World
Order”.` Some recent popes and many world leaders are
promoting one-world government, one-world religion, and a one-
world economic & financial system (i.e., a New World Order).
These grandiose one-world plans have been tried before in
history – always with horrendous state-sponsored murder and the
implementation of totalitarian government that strips away
personal freedoms. Evil men and their lackeys are pushing for
this New World Order, and all freedom-loving people must resist
it with all their strength!))

POPE PIUS IV (pope: 1559-1565)  

“The [Holy] Bible is not for the people; whosoever will be

saved must renounce it. It is a forbidden book. Bible societies
are Satanic contrivances.”  

((Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: The Roman Catholic

Church for centuries forbade the common man to read the Holy
Bible in his native language (e.g., German, English, French, etc.)
In fact, the Roman Catholic Church for centuries hunted down
and executed many individuals for the crime of printing,
distributing, or even possessing a Bible in their native language –
or, during some centuries, for possession of Bibles in Latin, Greek
(New Testaments) or Hebrew (Old Testaments). For more

POPE PIUS V  

“We do out of the fullness of our Apostolic power declare the

aforesaid ELIZABETH [Ed. Note: Queen Elizabeth I of England],
being a Heretic, and a favorer of Heretics, and her adherents in
the matters aforesaid, to have incurred the sentence of
anathema, and to be cut off from the unity of the Body of Christ.
And moreover, we do declare her to be deprived of her pretended
title to the kingdom aforesaid, and of all dominion, dignity, and
privilege whatsoever…and we do command and interdict all and
every noblemen, subjects, people, and others aforesaid, that
they presume not to obey her or her monitions, mandates, and
laws; and those who shall do the contrary, we do strike with the
like sentence of Damnation.” (1570)

 
((Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: Pope Pius V was in effect
inciting Roman Catholics in England to rebellion. The Papacy
had long been upset with the loss of its ecclesiastical monopoly in
England – and with the loss of some revenue to its coffers – that
resulted when King Henry VIII pulled England out from under
papal domination. There were at least three assassination
attempts on the life of Queen Elizabeth I of England – due in
large part to such papal declarations, and to Jesuit court intrigues
in England!))

POPE PIUS IX (1792-1878; pope: 1846-1878)  

“These false and perverse opinions [of democracy and

individual freedom] are so much the more detestable, by as
much as they…hinder and banish that salutary influence which
the [Roman] Catholic Church, by the institution and command of
her Divine Author, ought freely to exercise, even to the
consummation of the world, not only over individual men, but
[over] nations, [over] peoples, and [over] sovereigns.”

((Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: The Papacy has long

reserved to itself the right to enslave nations, peoples, and
sovereigns (rulers) under the worst and most vile of ecclesiastical
tyranny, and to use force and torture wherever and whenever she
deems appropriate. Her numerous official statements claim her
absolute ‘right’ to do so, and history has recorded the results:
i.e., numerous instances of ‘Holy’ Inquisition, ‘Holy’ crusades, and
religious genocide carried out by this religious institution upon
millions and millions of innocent men, women, and children! For
the past several centuries, the primary tool of the Papacy for
such ecclesiastical tyranny – and for fomenting and orchestrating

POPE PIUS X (1835-1914; pope: 1903-1914) 

“It would certainly have been better if Austria-Hungary had

punished the Serbians for all the wrongs they had done.” 

((Ed. Comment to the preceding quote: In The Secret History

of the Jesuits, Edmond Paris points out that, contrary to
Catholic Church propaganda, Pope Pius X actually helped instigate
hostilities between Austria-Hungary and Serbia. Clearly both the
Hapsburg dynasty (rulers of Austria-Hungary) and the Vatican
saw the growing power of Serbia as a threat. In fact, in late
1913 Prince Schonburg had an audience with Pope Pius X, who
told Schonburg the words contained in the preceding quote. In
other words, the Roman Catholic pope was letting this Roman
Catholic European power (Austria-Hungary) know that it was past
time to “take care of” the Serbian problem!))

POPE URBAN II (1042? -1099; pope: 1088-1099)  

“Distressing news has come to us that the people of the

Persian kingdom, an accursed race, a race utterly alienated from
God…has invaded Christian lands and devastated them with
sword, pillage, and fire.

…Who shall avenge these wrongs, who shall recover these

lands, if not you? Oh, most valiant knights, descendants of
unconquerable ancestors, remember the courage of your
forefathers, and do not dishonor them!

If you must have blood, bathe in the blood of infidels.

Soldiers of hell, become soldiers of the living God!” (November
