The INTRA Work Placement Advantage

My year-long work placement at Anglo Irish Bank has been a hugely positive experience. I held a
position in Lending, which is an area that I was interested in but I didn’t have a huge amount of
knowledge as to what actually happened day-to-day in this business.
In my opinion the biggest indication that my placement was a success is the fact that it has helped
me choose my subjects for final year. Following my placement, which was quite a numerical job, I
now have no doubt that the financial specialism is the best option for me.
I also believe that the industry experience I have gained through the INTRA programme will make
me a much more desirable prospect to potential employers.”
