Developed strategies to gain market share through the sale with distributors, general contractors
and end user accounts in the Southeast territory.
Designed and conducted a comprehensive educational overview for training 21 distributors and
425 new personnel on the processes from getting the specification to the sale.
Continued to build and maintain a territory with four states where I worked with specifiers, general
contractors, distributors, dcor vendors and end users adding value to the relationships as a Regional
Product Manager. Responsible for growing sales from 8 million to over 14 million with a partner who
handled the fabricators. Over 65% of the sales came from specified projects through architects,
designers or end users.
Assisted other direct report specification reps throughout the Southeast Division to help them
maintain and grow sales overall from 26 million dollars to 32 million dollars while personally
handling 4 of the states while in a downed economy.
Worked with distributors and fabricators to close the loop and make the sale, and specified more
than 760 projects per year in hospitality, healthcare, education and corporate using hundreds to
thousands of sheets of material for each large project. Managed the project pipeline through Sales
Force in order to close the loop and get the sale.
Developed national and regional projects with companies like Arbys Restaurant Group, Burger
King Corporation and Nissan USA as an example where I was able to maintain and grow sales by
20%.
