After successfully completing this module, you will:

recognise the main contracts arising in international trade;

understand that these contracts are co-dependent and together form the matrix of
legal obligations which facilitate trade;

be familiar with the key elements of a contract of sale and appreciate the effect of
Sale of Goods legislation; and

understand the judicial culture of the commercial courts and the doctrine of freedom
of contract.
