FEBRUARY UNDERWEAR & SOCK DRIVE
The FBC Mission Committee is sponsoring a sock and underwear drive
to help the homeless children of Decatur county (approximately 90 in
the county).
The needs are:
Boy's small, medium or large underwear, men's size small boxers, and
socks of all sizes. Girl's underwear sizes 2-14 (expect not size 7/8) and
socks for small girls. Place donations in designated mission boxes.
If you prefer, you can give money to Amy Pelham or Delrose Betts.

EVENING WORSHIP
Join us in worship each Sunday evening as we seek the Lords
face and learn of His will and His way. Fuel up for a week of
service and praise!

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR STIRS OUR HEARTS

A group of us were blessed to hear Dr. J. Robert White, the
Executive Director of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board as he
shared at Climax Baptist Church last Monday evening. The
stirring music and prayers of repentance were just a tip of
what God had in store for us. Dr. White truly challenged each
of us to greater devotion and service to our churches and
Gods kingdom!

BONUS REHEARSAL FOR EASTER MUSIC

This weeks bonus rehearsal for the Easter musical is for all
singers. Meet in the Choir Room at 5-6:15 PM.

EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE

Plan to join us at 7:15 AM on Sunday, March 27 for our
annual Easter Sunrise Service. Follow the signs at the Decatur
County Airpark to the west end where we gather to celebrate
Christs resurrection. We plan to offer transportation on the
van, if you are unable to get to this service. Please call the
church office to reserve your spot on the van. Bring your lawn
chair (and blanket, if needed) and worship our Risen Savior
with the sunrise!

FELLOWSHIP CLUB
Seniors, join with us at noon, Monday, March 7, as Lynn Ray
shares gospel music at our monthly Fellowship Club
gathering.

On behalf of Jeff, his family, and my family, I want to express our

gratitude to the Children's and Preschool Committee members for
hosting such a beautiful wedding shower for us. I would also like to
thank everyone that blessed us with gifts or sent well wishes. We are
so grateful to God for our church family and could not believe the
generosity that was showered upon us. Thank you all so very much!

Jesus is Our Guiding Light Egg Hunt

Wednesday, March 9 6:30 pm Green Space
We will be hunting glow in the dark eggs and playing some games! I
am super excited about all the fun in store and the opportunity to really
understand the concept that Jesus is the light of the world! There will
be a Preschool Hunt (up to K5) and an Elementary Hunt (1st-5th
grades). Pizza, chips and drinks will be served at 6:30 pm. The
Preschool and Children's Committee would like to invite all church
members to come and enjoy the Egg Hunt beginning at 7 pm.

The month of March is upon us and this year is moving right

along. We are planning summer events and one of the biggest
weeks of the year is our week of camp. This year we will be
attending WIRED in the Dothan area. This is a missions camp
that consist of 45 different churches and over 1000 students
and adults who gather together to worship, engage in
discipleship, and serve the community. You can access the

sign up form is on the home screen or under the registration
tab.

VBS!
Submerged: Psalm 139:23-24 June 20-24 (evening, times TBA)
It's time to get all our preparations for VBS! If you are willing to
donate a few supplies, please see the board in the Fellowship Hall and
take a paper fish with a supply with you. Fish are color coded by cost
of the item. Donated supplies may be returned to the basket outside the
church office by March 9. We really appreciate your donations!!
Calling all crafters! Or those you can trace and cut! If you are
willing to help decorate for VBS, please attend our initial meeting on
Sunday, March 6 at 4 pm in the Fellowship Hall. We will go over
the big ideas and begin to divide and conquer on projects. NO previous
craft experience needed!
Rotation Leaders Needed! I am looking to fill all the rotation leader
positions. Rotations are preschool and elementary and include
missions, recreation, Bible story, and music. Is God calling you to
serve this year?

Servant Saturday
Servant Saturday is an opportunity for our students to serve
the church and the city of Bainbridge. This is also an
opportunity for our students to put their faith into action by
becoming the hands and feet of Jesus. Our first Servant
Saturday will be Saturday, March 26th beginning at 8:30am.
We will have local service projects to complete during the
morning and then have lunch together. Save this date!! All
students and parents are encouraged to attend. Together we
can make a splash on the city of Bainbridge.
