Oversee five (5) manufacturing plants for Human Resources (Lyons, KS, Chicago, IL,
Duluth, MN, Kenosha and Milwaukee, WI).
Consult with senior management and line management providing HR guidance when
appropriate.
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and
policies.
Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues by conducting effective thorough
investigations and making recommendations based on facts.
Provide performance management guidance to supervisors and managers (i.e. coaching,
counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale,
increase engagement, productivity and retention.
Provide training needs for the manufacturing plants based on needs and rollout training
directed from Corporate.
Develop offers for new hires, promotions and transfers.
Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation and make changes as needed.
Collaborate with legal counsel on employment law issues for manufacturing plants.
Provide guidance and input on local restructures, workforce planning, succession planning.
Participate in unemployment hearings and work with hearing representative to obtain
successful outcome.
