F1 Configuration Menu

Pressing 4 + 5 during power on will grant access to the Configuration

Menu. Pressing F1 at any time will open Configuration Menu only if Edit
Mode is enabled.
"* PROD COUNTER *"
Absolute, non-erasable product counter. Count is updated when product
detector is triggered. This is a read only parameter.
Range: 0-99999999
Unit: labels
Default Value: 0
" EDIT
PROGRAM "
"
0=N 1=T 2=L"
Enable/Disable keyboard access to Edit and F1- Config functions.
0=Disable all access 1=Total access 2=Limited access.
Limited access option allows changing product delay in the Edit menu
but prevents from accessing other parameters..
Range: 0-1
Unit: Default Value: 1

" SENSOR TYPE "

"
0=NO 1=NC"
Product sensor output. Product sensor must be NPN. 0=Normally Open
1=Normally Closed
Range: 0-1
Unit: Default Value: 0
" SENSOR TEST "
Display current product sensor reading. This is a read only parameter.
" PRODUCT SENSOR "
"VALUE = 1
"
Reading =0 when sensor is off and =1 when on.
"MODE 1=SYN/TAMP"
"
2=T/B 3=T+B"
Label application mode: 1=Synchronous Tamp, 2=Tamp or Blow, 3=Tamp and
Blow
Synchronous Tamp activates while label is feeding. Tamp or Blow modes
first feed label, then hold label with vacuum and finally activate the
electrovalve. Tamp & Blow mode activates Tamp until Tamp end is detected,
then deactivates tamp and activates blow during Blow Dwell Time.
Range: 1-3
Unit: Default Value: 1
"TAMP+BLOW MODE "
"
0=SIM 1=AFT"
Option available if mode is set to 3 (Tamp+Blow).
0 = Simultaneous, once the end sensor activates or T/B dwell time is
over, the 2nd blow valve is triggered. Tamp is deactivated simultaneously
with the deactivation of blow valve. The tamp will continue moving
forward while the blow valve is activated!
1 = After, when the blow valve is activated the tamp is deactivated. Blow
occurs while the tamp is returning.
Range: 0-1
Unit: Default Value: 1
"CYCL 0=NOR 1=REV"
Normal cycle is:
1- Label is fed into tamp or blow module
2- Product is detected, product delay countdown starts.
3- Tamp delay countdown starts after product delay is completed.
4- Tamp or Blow is activated.
5- Wait until T/B dwell time elapses
6- Tamp or Blow is deactivated
7- Wait until Cycle End Delay is elapse the application cycle
ends.
Reverse cycle is:
1- Product is detected, product delay countdown starts.
2- Wait until product delay time is over
3- Label begins feeding into tamp or blow module
4- While label is feeding Tamp delay countdown starts
5- After Tamp delay time Tamp or Blow is activated.
6- Wait until T/B dwell time elapses
7- Tamp or Blow is deactivated

8- End of cycle
Range: 0-1
Unit: Default Value: 0
"DELAY BTW CYCLES"
Delay after label is dispensed before starting application cycle.
Range: 0-255
Unit: 10 milliseconds per unit (0 to 2550 milliseconds)
Default Value: 0
"CYCLE END DELAY "
Delay prior to starting next label cycle. This delay allows tamp to
return to home position. If HOME sensor is connected, this parameter is
a timeout value (maximum time to before tamp is considered to be home).
Range: 0-255
Unit: 30 milliseconds per unit (0 to 7650 milliseconds)
Default Value: 0
"ASSIST DELAY ON "
Length of dispensed label before Assist valve is activated.
Range: 0-255
Unit: milliseconds
Default Value: 50
"ASSIST DELAY OFF"
Delay in milliseconds after label stops feeding prior to deactivating
assist valve.
Range: 0-255
Unit: milliseconds
Default Value: 0
"LOW LABEL LOGIC"
"
0=NO 1=NC "
Optional low level sensor for labels. 0=Normally Open sensor, 1= Normally
closed sensor.
Range: 0-1
Unit: Default Value: 1
"* FIRMWARE VER *"
Software Version. This is a read only parameter.
"*** KPA 400 ***"
"V2.2. AUG/30/06"

Edit - Modify program parameters

"TAMP DELAY

TIME"

Option available if MODE set to Synchronous Tamp.

Delay after the label starts feeding and the tamp activation.
Range: 0-10000
Unit: milliseconds
Default Value: 0

"T/B

DWELL

TIME" (Salida del brazo aplicador)

Tamp o Blow activation time. Time during which the electro valve remains
activated. If END sensor is connected, this parameter is a timeout
value (maximum activation time).
Range: 0-10000
Unit: milliseconds
Default Value: 0
"2nd BLOW DWELL T"( Cilindros detenimiento Cajas)
Option available if MODE set to 3=T+B.
Blow after Tamp activation time. Time during which the electro valve
remains activated. Activation occurs immediately after Tamp is
deactivated if T+B mode is set to AFT, if T+B mode is set to SIM, Tamp if
deactivated when blow time ends.
Range: 0-10000
Unit: Tens of milliseconds
Default Value: 0
" PRODUCT DELAY "
Time between product being detected and start of new cycle.
Range: 0-10000
Unit: milliseconds
Default Value: 0
