Costs Involved
Therapy through ICBC Therapy help me?

First you will need to consult your Medical
Doctor for a referral for treatment of your
injury/injuries by a Registered Massage
Therapist.
Next you will need to contact the ICBC to
obtain approval from them for treatment
coverage.
Treatment coverage under ICBC is within the
first 8 weeks from the initial date of the
accident.
Once you have confirmed coverage for
Massage Therapy Treatment through the
ICBC then treatments can begin.
Coverage
Upon your first appointment please be sure
to bring your MD’s referral , your Active Claim
Number and your Adjustors name and direct
contact number.
Treatments are only partially covered through
the ICBC; therefore you are responsible for
the portion that the ICBC does not cover.
Treatments times are usually 30–60 minutes
long depending on the severity of the injury.
