Job Title : Business Analyst

Reports to : Support Team Lead

Location : Mumbai/Chennai

Purpose of the Job

• Business Analysts are responsible for quickly understands the business issues and data
challenges of client's organization and industry.

• Identifies client organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of

improvement.

• Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and

recommendations related to proposed solution.

• Develops functional specifications and system design specifications for client

engagements.

Main Objectives and Activities

• Working in Implementation and Support divisions of risk management, Capital market,
Mutual funds, IPO etc.

• Training Users on Product Functionality.

• Functional testing of software to provide bug free software to clients.

• Interact with Clients; prepare a roadmap for Implementation of Software.

• Issue analysis and escalation as per the process defines.

• Responsible for gathering and analyzing Business requirements of the project and
transmitting of the same to development team.

• Closely working with project management team and development team to ensure
delivery in committed time.

• To suggest development team during product development to meet the business needs
of clients.

• Responsible for helping the development team to understand and clarify the functional
requirements.
 • Prepare Precise and detailed Functional Specification Documents, Requirement
Specification documents and User Interface Guides.

• Requirement Study and analysis.

• Supporting the release team during software release and deployment process.

• Testing the software as per client’s requirement and ensure bug free software
movement to production.

• Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner.

• Works with client personnel to identify required changes.

• Communicates needed changes to development team.

• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.

Additional Responsibilities
• Conducts effective progress evaluations in a timely manner.

• Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules

• Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies

comments/feedback.

• Communicates and applies project standards.

• Manages in accordance with project schedule.

• Understands the components of running a fiscally successful project

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor Degree 4+ years / MCA / MBA

Technical Skills
• Database Applications: MS SQL all versions

• MS Windows – All versions

• Possesses understanding in the areas of application design, database and system

design.

• Understands Internet, Intranet, Extranet and client/server architectures.

• Understands how legacy and web-based systems interface with each other.

Soft Skills
• Generates enthusiasm among team members.
