We are DSMBUS- Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti. Our journey started in 1980.
Dr.

Kiran Prajapati laid the foundation of the Society. The humble effort taken by Dr. Kiran
Prajapati the Society - Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti was registered in 1987
under the Society Registration Act, 1958.
Since then we have grown from strength to and the Society is continuously
Serving the Society. Our Scope of work covers a wide spectrum of development issues
ranging from Medical, Health, Health Awareness, Family Welfare, RCH, Immunization,
School Health, Health Education, Prevention of AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis, De-addiction,
Blindness, Malnutrition, Anemia, etc., Medical Mobile Camps, Orientation Camps,
Vocational Training, Women Empowerment, Service For Disables, Environment
Protection, Safe Motherhood, Water & Sanitation, Rural Development, Human &
Women Rights, Nasha Mukti Camps, Polio Correction Surgery Camps, Artisan/Cluster
Development, Old Age Welfare, Human Resource Activities, Youth & Tribal Welfare,
Mobilization & Promotion Of SHG’s, Empowerment In Girl Child/Infanticide/Foeticide,

President’s Desk
Our Social Welfare Organization was originated with a conviction in welfare and
defensive regulation. Our Organization promotes the Overall Development of Women,
Children, and Youth in rural and urban development area in India. We endure our
Organization Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti in 1980 being intended with a feeling
of Social Welfare to a large community. What keeps the Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan
Samiti obtainable is the authentic target to formulate a significant revolutionized is the
life of those we provide and the enthusiasm and passion to gain knowledge of
innovative things and execute them. The enduring support and conviction of a group of
people, benefactor & donor, and associates has reserved us going. I yearn to express
appreciation them all. It’s in use us a protracted time to achieve the path we are in the
present day, however I believe with the intension of this is just a inauguration , at a halt

Local Context:
Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti is located in Jaipur-Rajasthan, India which is the

Capital of Rajasthan & also the Largest City in Rajasthan. Jaipur is the famous for its

historical monuments and so is also considered as One of the Best Visiting Places of

India. Jaipur is the First Well Planned City Of India, located in the Desert Lands Of

India, Rajasthan. The City which once had been the Capital of the Royalty now is the

Capital City of Rajasthan. In the present date, Jaipur is the Major Business Centre for

the natives of Rajasthan with all requisites of a Metropolitan City. In a recent

international survey Jaipur was ranked the 7th best place to visit in Asia and in another

poll it was ranked 3rd among twelve major Indian cities. Modern infrastructural facilities

are developing fast, and in many cases surpass those of larger cities like Delhi and

Calcutta. The city is expanding very quickly and has become a hot spot for development

in Rajasthan. Since 2000 Jaipur has become a centre for education. Since its inception,

Our Society has been organizing various programmes for children, youth, women and

workers in slum, unorganized sectors.

Centers Running:
Kiran Nursing Home

Kiran Nursing Home is one of the most reputed & oldest Nursing Homes of Jaipur. The
Nursing Home is running from last 30 years for the welfare of people. In Nursing Home
all treatments are conducted by Senior Doctors. The Nursing Home is providing 24
hours emergency services also. Besides this, Safe MTP, D&C, Delivery, ANC & PNC
Check-up Sterility Treatment, Investigation, Hospitalization & Operations have been
conducted by specialized doctors.

The Nursing Home is also conducting Medical Mobile Camps, RCH Fairs, Healthy Baby
Competitions, School Health & Orientation Program for AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis,
Cancer, Blindness, Alcoholism, etc. from time to time.
Deepshikha's Compucord

Deepshikha's Compucord is the first institute which is providing varied range of courses
under single roof. The institute offers many Courses in different streams including–

Deaddiction Centre

Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti is operating Deaddiction cum Rehabilitation


Centre {NASHA MUKTI KENDRA}at Kiran Nursing Home, Hatwara Road, Shanti
Nagar, Jaipur. The Society is continuously providing free medical services to the
persons who are addicted to smoking, charas, ganja, tobacco, etc. and trying to
remove their habits.

The Program is assisted by Ministry Of Social Justice &


Empowerment, Govt. Of India.

Urban RCH Centre

Samiti is now one of the Best URBAN RCH CENTRE’s in Jaipur which is running at
Nahari Ka Naka, Chandpole, Jaipur. The Centre was sanctioned to the Society in Year
2008. Since than Society is providing free medial services and aids to the poor, needy
community of the nearby places. The Urban RCH Centre was resanctioned to the
Society for its outstanding services.

The Centre is assisted by National Rural Health Mission, Govt. Of India.

Vision, Mission & Goals


VISION

The Vision of Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti is to help bring


about greater justice for the weakest sections of the Society.
Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti firmly believes that the key to this
lies in the Economic Empowerment. Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan
Samiti is a dynamic and self-sustaining Social Welfare Organization committed to
effectively transform women, children, youth to their fullest potential, empowering them
to become honest, highly motivated, productive and self-reliant members of the family,
community and society.

MISSION
• Develop wide-ranging and incorporated program for children,
women, youth and people towards potential edifice and
independence.

• Empower Women’s, Youths, children, people and families in


making responsible and knowledgeable decisions on the basis of their sound
conviction, rights, opportunities and obligations.

• Develop public awareness on the conditions of Women, children and youth towards
building social responsibility and commitment.

• To mobilize and harness the power of children, youth, women and people at large to
combat illiteracy, ignorance, gender discrimination and the evil of addiction with an
ultimate aim of crime prevention and development.

GOALS
The Organization officially came into existence only
when it is registered i.e. on 30th January 1987. But
unofficially formed much earlier in Year 1980 to do
something concert for marganilised and under
privilege sub population in socio economic field. They
manifested the following objectives:-

1. Women Empowerment through socio-economic development programs and


initiatives emphasizing on vocational training as per stakeholders capacity and
likeness.
2. Medical, Health, Family Welfare, RCH, Safe Motherhood, School Health, Health
Education, Health Awareness for AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis, De-addiction, Anemia,
Malnutrition, Blindness, etc. activities for urban slums and rural areas.
3. Environment Building for fuller physical, mental growth and development
discarding gender biasness.
4. Initiatives for educational institution from primary to university level for
marginalized girls/women.
5. Interventions for welfare activities like Mahila Ashram, Women Hospital and other
technical adds to downtrodden women.
6. Establishment of Day Care Centers & Welfare Activities for old age {60+}.
7. Sharing of benefits of development programs on equality and fraternity.
8. Networking with sister concerns, organizations and government institution on
participatory plank.
9. Promotional activity and catalytic activity approach for small-scale industries
including for initiative collaborating with Khadi Gram Udhyog.
10. For welfare of disables, vocational training to physically handicappeds, polio
correction surgery operation camps, establishment of special schools, awareness
generating activities for prevention and rehabilitation, supply special aids to
disables, etc.
11. Mobilization and promotion of SHG’s, skill development training to rural women &
youths.
12. To empowerment in girl child, infanticide, foeticide, dowry and education.
13. To uplift rural youth & poors and women in distress & difficult circumstances.

PROJECTS COMPLETED
One Year Computer Training Program

Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti trained 60 females in One Year Computer
Education Program in Year 2001. The Program was conducted under NORAD (Mahila
Swawlamban Scheme).

The Program was assisted by Human Resource Department, Women & Child
Development Division, Govt. of India.

Medical Mobile Camps in Rural, Inaccessible Areas


Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti conducted Medical Mobile Camps in remote,
inaccessible areas of different villages – KALAKH, BORAJ, MUNDIA RAMSAR,
RAITHAL of Jaipur District, Rajasthan. The target given to the NGO was 2400 patients
but the NGO achieved just the 9 times of the target 21,000 patients. Facilities given to
the rural people includes-examination, check-up, investigation, distribution of free
medicines, vaccination, specific methods for Family Welfare.

The Program was assisted by World Bank & IPP-IX.

Polio Correction Camps

Deepshikha Mahila Bal


Utthan Samiti organized Polio Correction Surgery Camps in Sanjeevani Hospital, Jaipur
in Year 2004 . 103 patients were operated & given Callipers for rehabilitation. Also
worked for rehabilitation of them & made follow-up after the Operation.

The Program was assisted by Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. Of Rajasthan.

Environment Awareness Camps


Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti organized Environment Awareness Camps in
Year 2001, 2002, 2003. People were motivated to plant more trees & to save the
environment through Rallies, Seminars, giving information to Save Water & Awareness
For Water-borne Diseases.

The Program was assisted by Ministry Of Forest & Environment, Govt. Of India.{NEAC
Program}

Training of Job Oriented Courses

➢ Deepshikha
Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti trained 25 students in Computerized Accounting
Course- “COMPUTANT” in Year 2007. Candidates trained in Manual &
Computerised Accounting. The Program was assisted by Rajasthan Mission Of
Livelihood., Govt. Of Rajasthan.
➢ Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti trained 25 students in DTP Operator
Course in Year 2008. Candidates trained in the Designing Softwares along with
the basic knowledge of Computers.
➢ Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti trained 25 students in DATA ENTRY
OPERATOR COURSE in Year 2008. Candidates trained in Data Entry, Basic
Computer Operation and Internet.

The Program was assisted by Rajasthan Mission Of Livelihood, Govt. Of


Rajasthan.
ASHA TRAINING


Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti organised training for village women to train
them in Basic, Maternity & Child related Medical Services, Services to the people
of villages in Year 2006. 103 ladies of 100 villages of Jaipur District trained under
this.

train them in Basic, Maternity & Child related Medical Services in Year 2007. 103
ladies of 103 villages trained under this.
➢ Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti organised training for village women to
train them in Basic, Maternity & Child related Medical Services in Year 2009. 95
ladies of 95 villages of Jaipur District trained under this.

The Program was assisted by National Rural Health Mission, Govt. Of India.
URBAN RCH CENTRE

Deepshikha Mahila
Bal Utthan Samiti is running URBAN RCH CENTRE at Nahari Ka Naka, Chandpole,
Jaipur. Services given – free anti- natal checkup, safe delivery & motherhood,
investigation, treatment of all persons particularly slum area women & children & other
needy poor people, distribution of condoms & oral pills, insertion of copper-t, motivation
for male & female sterilization, vaccination to pregnant mothers & children, medicines
given for tetanus, polio, DPT, DT, hepatitis-B, BCG, measels. The Centre was
sanctioned to the Society in Year 2008. Since than Society is providing free medical
services and aids to the poor, needy community of the nearby places.

The Program was assisted by National Rural Health Mission, Govt. Of India.

Training to Minority-BPL Community


Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti trained 25 ladies belonging to Minority-BPL
Community in AARI- TAARI (embroidery work of golden/silver threads on Sarees) in
Year 2008.

The Program was assisted by Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Govt. Of Rajasthan.

Medical Mobile Camps in Rural, Inaccessible Areas


Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti conducted Medical Mobile Camps in remote,
inaccessible areas of different rural areas of different District villages of Rajasthan in
Year 2001,2002 .

The Program was assisted by Rameshwar Das Birla Smarak Kosh.

CAREER GUIDANCE CENTRE

Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti organised Career Guidance Session & Seminars
to motivate the Students for the future prospects for them & guide them about the
various Career Options in Year 2008. More than 5,000 students of different schools
benefited.

The Program was assisted by Ministry Of Youth Affairs, Govt. Of India.

ONGOING PROJECTS
WOMEN HELPLINE
Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti operated WOMEN HELPLINE CENTRE to help
the women who are in distress in Year 2008. The Program was assisted by Human
Resource Development, Women & Child Development Division, Govt. Of India.

15 Bedded Deaddiction cum Rehabilitation Centre


Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti is operating Deaddiction cum

Deepshikha Mahila Bal Utthan Samiti organised Training Program for BPL women of
slum areas of Jaipur under Swaran Jayanti Swarojgar Yojana. 30BPL women trained in
Aari-Taari work.
The Program was assisted by Jaipur Nagar Nigam, Govt. Of Rajasthan.
