information dissemination.
GOAL
The Office of the City Civil Registrar commits itself to the promotion of public service excellence
and effective leadership through and effective and efficient interaction with the public that it
serves to improve the quality of life.
LEGAL MANDATE
Act No. 3753 or the Civil Registry Law has for its purpose, the establishment of a civil registrar
in the Philippines wherein acts, events, legal instruments and court decrees concerning the civil
status of persons shall be recorded.

Administrative Order 1 for the Office of the Civil Registrar General Implementing guidelines of
the rules and regulations of the said Act was promulgated for the information, guidance and
compliance of Act No. 3753 for all concerned.
