The Journal of Developing Areas (Tier B in ABDC 2013/ ERA 2010 Lists)
AMECBSS 2016 gives the participants an opportunity to publish their full-fledged conference papers in the
Journal of Developing Areas (The JDA), which has been a highly recognised multidisciplinary international
journal since 1966. The JDAs Editorial Advisory Board included eminent personalities as Economics Noble
Laureate Professor Eric Maskin and the World Bank Chief Economist Dr Kaushik Basu.
The Association of Business Schools - UK ranked the JDA as a "Grade Two" journal. Excellence in Research for
Australia (ERA), the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC), German Keil Institute's Internal Rankings, and
Anne-Wil Harzing Quality List of Journals ranked JDA as "Category B". The JDA is also listed in the Association
of Business Schools Academic Journal Quality Guide by Bristol Business School, Economic Society of Australia
Journals List, Danish Ministry Journals List, Cranfield School of Management Journals List, Wien Journals List
by the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Aston Business School Journals League.

Through Project MUSE of Johns Hopkins University Press, JSTOR, ProQuest, Cengage, and EBSCOhost, the
electronic version of the current and past issues of the JDA are currently subscribed by nearly 5,000 libraries
around the world. In addition, its print version is distributed to its individual and institutional subscribers.
Through a two-stage review process, all full-fledged papers submitted to AMECBSS 2016 will be considered
for publication in the JDA Regular Issue and/or Special Issue. That means some of the accepted papers will
be published in the Regular Issue while others in the Special Issue depending on the availability of space in
the issue in which they will be considered. The JDA Editorial office will make final decision as to which ones
will be carried in the Regular Issue and which ones in the Special Issue. While the JDA publishes only the
quantitative papers as full-fledged research article, a limited number of full-fledged qualitative papers will be
considered for publication in the JDAs Regular Issue and/or Special Issue as Notes (approximately 3,500
words). Usually, a Regular Issue of JDA includes of about 23 pieces including 2/3 Notes. Full-fledged
submissions, which do not meet the JDAs acceptance criteria, will be considered for publication in one of the
following peer-reviewed international journals:
Australian Journal of Business and Economic Studies (AJBES)
Australian Journal of Sustainable Business and Society (AJSBS)
Regardless of this, all the submissions that have been accepted for presentation will be published as
conference proceedings with an ISBN.
