The following questions subject to change or addition as God gives us light, could be asked of prospective elders, deacons, teachers, ministers, and those requesting missionary support.

1.

Do you believe God exists? Hebrews 11:6, Romans 1:20

What is your understanding of the nature of God as three persons yet one God? Matthew 28:19,

Do you believe that Jesus is the divine son of God? John 1:1,14; John 8:54-58, John 20:28

Do you believe the scriptures as originally transmitted, are the inerrant word of God? 2 Timothy 3:16,

Do you believe Jesus was born of a virgin? Matthew 1:18-25, Luke 1:26-35

12. Do you believe one must be immersed into Christ in order to be saved from sin and from God’s wrath

coming upon the sons of disobedience? Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Ephesians 5:6

13. Do you believe that once a person is saved from past sins, he or she must be faithful until death in order to

receive a crown of life? Revelation 2:10, Matthew 10:22, 24:13, Hebrews 3:14

14. Do you believe Jesus will come again and that all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ to give an

account of deeds done in the body, whether good or bad? Romans 14:10, 2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 20:12,13

15. Do you believe an important purpose of the Christian community is to seek and save the lost? Jude 1:3,

Acts 8:4, Romans 1:15-17

16. Do you believe the practice of homosexuality and sex before and outside of marriage, are sinful

behaviour? 1 Timothy 1:10, 1 Corinthians 6:9, Romans 1:21-27, Jude 1:7
