The Jackson Police Departments Major Investigations Division is currently investigating the
following incidents:

On Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Beatty St. Grocery, 101 Beatty St., two suspects
robbed the business at gunpoint for an undisclosed amount of money and fled the
scene in a black Chevy Impala.
On Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Jackson Ice House, 607 S. Jefferson St., two
suspects robbed the business and the cashier at gunpoint for an undisclosed amount
of money. The suspects fled the scene in a black Chevy Impala.
On Friday, February 5, 2016 at Nail City, 2889 Terry Rd., four suspects robbed the
business and the owner at gunpoint. The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored
SUV with an undisclosed amount of money.
On Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Waffle House, 425 McDowell Rd., two suspects
robbed the business at gunpoint and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed
amount of money.

During the course of these investigations, Ridgeland Police Departments Investigators relayed
intelligence regarding a black Chevy Impala to the Robbery/Homicide Division regarding recent
robberies that occurred in their jurisdiction.
On Sunday, February 7, 2016, a Precinct 1 officer observed a black Chevy Impala matching the
description of the vehicle involved in the robberies. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver
of the vehicle was identified as Ivan Eatmond. This information was relayed to the
Robbery/Homicide Division for follow-up.
On Wednesday, February 10, 2016, Ivan Eatmond was detained at 2212 Sloan St. by
Robbery/Homicide Detectives and Ridgeland Police Investigators. He was later questioned and
subsequently charged. A second suspect, identified as Pierre Pryer was also identified and
charged. He is not in custody at this time.
These investigations are still ongoing. More arrests and/or charges are possible. This duo is also
facing possible robbery charges in Ridgeland, MS and Clinton, MS.

They are facing the following charges:


Ivan Eatmond (ARRESTED)

Four counts of Armed Robbery of a Business and two counts of Armed Robbery of an
Individual in connection with the robberies of the Waffle House, Nail City, Jackson Ice
and Beatty St. Grocery.

Pierre Pryer-19 (WANTED)

Three counts of Armed Robbery of a Business and one count of Armed Robbery of an
Individual in connection with the robberies of Waffle House, Nail City and Beatty Street
Grocery.
