1.

As an infant I was baptized into the Catholic Faith, but my mother raised me in a Protestant
home. Therefore I was not afforded the opportunity to experience the blessing of the Sacrament
of Confirmation. Throughout my childhood, attendance at the local Presbyterian Church's
vacation Bible school and youth group were a regular requirement, and at the age of 15 I was
moved to accept Christ. It wasn't until I was married that I actually felt God calling me to some
type of vocation, so I enrolled in a local Bible college and after 3 years graduated with a
Diploma in Ministerial Studies. I went to Vietnam and served as a missionary for a short time
and when I returned I began co-pastoring a local Christian Church. I had also been asked to
teach regularly at the Bible college I graduated from. I had been teaching for 8 years when,
while preparing to teach courses on the Early Church and the Protestant Reformation God lead
me to start questioning the Protestant faith. Eventually I left the Protestant Faith altogether and
dedicated myself to God, the True Church, to Jesus Christ and to Mary Immaculate.
2. I have been reading the Catechism and have started a prayer group to pray the Holy Rosary with
several others who are recent converts to Catholicism. I believe that God may be calling me to a
prayer ministry as well as back to teaching, but this time to teach His truth.
3. Baptism was and is my initiation into the New Covenant, much as the Judaic circumcision was
the entrance rite to the Mosaic covenant. It is the place where I was washed in Christ's blood, all
my sins were remitted. I was united with Christ in His death burial and resurrection. It is where
I became Born again of the water and the Spirit. It was the point in time where I became a part
of the Family of God. Confirmation (which I received last year) was an opportunity for me to
confirm my Baptism and receive the Holy Spirit and the seven-fold gifts; Wisdom,
Understanding, Right Judgment, Courage, Knowledge, Reverence, and the Fear of the Lord.
Holy Communion is where I am able to finally receive Jesus Christ unto eternal life, His true
presence, body and blood in the gift of the Eucharist. By this I glorify God showing Christ's
One, Full, Perfect and Sufficient Sacrifice for my sins and those of the whole world.
Confession is where I obey God by confessing my sins to a priest so that I may receive
absolution and grace to continue on the sanctified path, growing ever closer to my Lord.
Anointing of the sick is a grace offered to my by God so that when I am sick or in-firmed I may
call on the priests of the church to anoint me with oil and pray for my healing. Also, It affords
me the blessing of Last Rites if and when I need them. Holy Matrimony is the state of sharing
my life with a help-mate that god has chosen for me, our union to be a spiritual reflection of the
Holy Trinity as my wife and I become one, spirit, soul and body. Holy Orders is the Sacrament
whereby those whom God has chosen are ordained Bishops, Priests, Deacons by the laying on
of hands, thereby becoming the Ministers of Christ, His Word and His Sacraments.
4. I have pledged myself heart, soul and mind to Christ as a living sacrifice and to the authority of
His true Church and to the Pope the successor of the great Apostle St. Peter.
5. I work with Senior Citizens at an Institution called Senior Life. I assist them in their ability to
live independently at home. I assist them with certain medical needs like wheelchair
transportation, oxygen delivery and administration, the delivery and installation of various
medical devices as well as being a licensed Emergency Medical Technician.
6. Right now I am in training to be a Lector in Church, hoping eventually to become a Deacon. I
am currently leading a Prayer group which recites the Holy Rosary and prays for the whole
Church. I also sometimes lead as we read from the Catechism.

7. I did not graduate High-School but dropped out in my Senior Year. However, I did go on to get
my G.E.D. that very same year (6/3/88). I have a diploma from the Governors School of the
Arts, a Diploma of Ministerial Studies from Shiloh Bible Institute in Washington PA as well as
some other college courses from the Community College of Allegheny County.
8. I am interested in GBC because I know that God has placed a call on my life to minister in
some fashion. I spent several years of my life in the man-made faith of the Protestant religion
trying to connect with that calling, and now after years of praying and searching I have finally
been lead to GBC and have the opportunity to know the One, True Faith that was delivered to
God's people, and will be able to share it with others. Last but definitely not least I'll be able to
lead my family and to train up my children in the Catholic Faith.
9. I will dedicate as many hours as necessary to GBC and her studies. I am ready to do whatever it
takes. I am a sponge just waiting to drink it all in!
