RENDIMIENTO
Introduccin
En el marco de los Lineamientos para la implementacin de la enseanza
del idioma ingls, aprobado mediante R.S.G. N 2060 2014 MINEDU y la
Resolucin Ministerial N 274-2014- MINEDU que aprueba la creacin del
modelo de servicio educativo para la atencin de estudiantes de alto
desempeo, con fecha

de estudio. El nmero de horas para alcanzar el nivel C1, por ejemplo, est
entre 700 y 800 horas de instruccin, mientras que los estudiantes COAR
reciben entre 633 y 710 horas como se explica en la siguiente tabla:

Por otro lado, el Bachillerato Internacional incluye al idioma ingls como una
de las lenguas modernas dentro de sus tres programas: Programa de la
Escuela Primaria (PEP), Programa de Aos Intermedios (PAI) y Programa de
Diploma (PD). En el PAI la asignatura es llamada Adquisicin de Lenguas y
establece seis fases de aprendizaje de una segunda lengua mientras que en
el PD la asignatura es llamada Lengua B y establece tres niveles: Lengua Ab
Initio nivel medio, Lengua B nivel medio y Lengua B nivel superior. Todos los
programas de lenguas del Bachillerato Internacional corresponden a un nivel
especfico del MCER. (International Baccalaureate, Guidance for Language
Provision in Groups 1 and 2, 2009).

3. Textos
Los textos pueden ser hablados, escritos o visuales. Los estudiantes
deben ser expuestos a una gran variedad de textos de los tres tipos
antes mencionados para luego producir los propios haciendo uso del
lenguaje aprendido, bajo el formato y registros adecuados para dar

Existen dos tipos de textos segn el lenguaje utilizado:

4. Temas prescritos
Los temas prescritos son dados por la gua de Ab Initio de Ingls del
programa de Diploma. Estos temas dan contexto, orientacin y
ayudan al desarrollo del pensamiento crtico e intercultural. Durante
el 3 de secundaria en los COAR el aprendizaje del ingls se da a
travs de tres temas. Estos temas son cclicos y se pueden dar en
cualquier orden. No todos los sub-temas son abordados pues se debe
responder a la necesidad, inters y contexto del estudiante.
