Qualification and Verification Procedure

The influence of the parameter - Close Idle Voltage has been tested thoroughly during
the software qualification tests of the basic software GAA30320AAA. The results of these
tests are documented in the Software Qualification Report, which is available on request.
Additional tests were done in the door-laboratory in Gien, which confirm that no problems
occured with higher voltage at close idle. See test report - CLDIDLEV.doc - from the
10.Dec. 1997 in the appendix.
A field test, done in France, confirms no problems with the adjustment of the Close Idle
Voltage, which has been increased from 10% to 20% ( see appendix).

Baseline Modification Report

1. Improvements
Item1.1: Default value for Close Idle Voltage = 20% :

At some door applications the close torque was not sufficient, if the DCSS reduces the
voltage after 15 sec staying in close idle mode. In these cases the Close Idle Voltage
could be adjusted by the parameter setup. For improvements the default value of this parameter has been increased from 10% to 20%.
