PRINCIPLE OF MOTIVATION
Motivation is the inspiration given by the teacher to the student. As we know,
performance to the student = Ability x Motivation, one can create motivation
at beginning by asking a interesting question or explaining an event or
humorous situation and then, use of charts, graphic, narration of some great
personalities, or audio, visual etc. Can be used.
Thus any students can be ignited providing there is frequent interaction
between the teacher and him. A praising is key motivation. A good teacher
he who teaches less but inspire more
CREATIVE TEACHING
In order to teach creativity, one must teach creatively; that is, it will take a
great deal of creative effort to bring out the most creative thinking in your
classes. Of course, creativity is not the only required element for creative
instructors. They must also know their fields and know how to create an
appropriate learning environment.
COGNITIVE
Stating the lesson's Objective, Specific and Germane Input, Modeling,
Checking For Understanding, Evaluation, Positive Transfer, Relevance
Teaching Meaning In Context, Differentiated Instruction, Multiple Intelligence
Instruction and Principles are but a few literally hundreds of different
methodologies.
METACOGNITIVE
Metacognition is a critically important, yet often overlooked component of
learning. Effective learning involves planning and goal-setting, monitoring
one's progress, and adapting as needed. All of these activities are
metacognitive in nature. By teaching students these skills - all of which can
be learned - we can improve student learning.
There are three critical steps to teaching metacognition:
Teaching students that their ability to learn is mutable
Teaching planning and goal-setting
Giving students ample opportunities to practice monitoring their learning and
adapting as necessary
POSITIVE METACOGNITIVE
Student motivation is about students' desire to be a part in the learning
process. Students are not equally motivated to perform, and the sources of
their motivation may be very different. Motivation is every bit as important
as discipline.
ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
The most instructional material used was the chalkboard, utilized pictures,
charts and illustration. Occasionally, she let pupils watch multimedia
materials like educational television.
REFLECTION
Teachers are also one of the observer. Teachers are also one of the helping
hands of a student to develop their abilities specifically their cognitive
skills, affective and psychomotor during my observation, the teacher is
very observant, patient, and reasonable. She deals the class in the way of
being comfortable, wise and collaborative. The class is very quiet.
But the cooperation is present, they pay attention to their teacher even
through the classroom is not well ventilated. The teacher is lovable,
understanding, and she is very considerate. She loves to speak and share
her knowledge. If I will relate it to my principles of teaching it really differs
a lot. In such way of disciplining the students.
And have them motivated to have their attention and for them to acquire
the knowledge with understanding
I learned that to become an effective teacher it is not enough to master
only your lesson you have to be equipped with strategies and techniques
on how you will present your lesson to make it rich, meaningful and
permanent. Motivation is very essential in learning activities you have to
make sure that almost 100% of the pupils will participate and attentive in
any discussion and whatever activities you will have.
As teacher you will also have to show to your pupils that you are also
interested in your subject matter, because once you are dull when they will
get bored.
