Ensure the civil works are completed for the area of installation, and

clearance is obtained from the respective authorities & parties to proceed

further with installation work.
Prior to the start the installation, refer to the approved shop drawings related
to the area of installations and ensure that the required material are
available on the site as per approved material submittals.
Ensure the materials are stored properly and there is no mark of damage or
deformity of any kind on proposed items before issuing the material work
ahead on site installations.
Water tanks shall be installed on the uniform concrete plinth (beams) of
recommended dimensions by Water Tank Manufacturer and as per approved
project foundation drawings to ensure the adequate clearance is available for
valves, piping and future maintenance purposes.
Ensure that the concrete beams should be horizontal and smooth finishes
from top to ensure proper settlement of water tank skid base and to avoid
tank base deformation. Painting if required in civil scope details.
Stainless Steel skid base shall be fixed on the uniform concrete plinth
(beams)
Steel skid base shall be placed and leveled properly as required to drain off
the Tanks water.
Base panels shall be installed on the leveled steel skid base.
Side panels shall be installed on the base panels.
Gasket shall be put in between the panels for preventing water leakage from
the joints.
Water Tank panels shall be jointed as per Manufacturers recommendations
by bolts.
Location and installation of panels for the inlet, outlet, drain and overflow
pipe shall be as per approved shop drawings.
Installation of the internal accessories shall be carried out after side panels
installation.
Panels shall be tied internally by steel tie rod for side panel reinforcement
and externally by stay plates as per the manufacturer recommendations.
Inlet, outlet, drain and overflow nozzles shall be connected to tanks with
flange connection.
Top panels shall be installed on side panels.

Recommended pipe support to be provided for roof panels block supports.

Stainless steel internal and external ladders shall be provided.
All stainless steel nut bolts to be securely tied with washer.
Tank installation is to be provided to consultant for approval.
After the approval of the installation procedure/work, water tanks shall be
allowed for water leak test as per the manufacturer recommendations.
For testing of water tanks, all openings shall be closed, water shall be filled in
the tanks by temporary water supply line.
Air vent shall be installed on each tank for the smooth escape of air from
water tank.
Water shall be kept inside the tank for at least 24 hours and leaks shall be
checked, if any leak found, it shall be rectified and again offered for the same
for consultant approval.
