1. As everyone celebrates Christmas, the Division of Negros Oriental joins the world in this
yearly celebration of love, peace, and joy through a Division Christmas Program and
Teachers Day on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the Lamberto Macias Sports and
Cultural Center from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
2. This celebration will be participated in by all Public Kindergarten, Elementary, and
Secondary Teachers including the ALS Teachers; all non-teaching personnel; all Public
School Administrators/ School Heads; Public Schools District Supervisors/Districts-InCharge; and the Division Education Program Supervisors/ Program
Specialists/Coordinators.
3. Below is the schedule of the whole day event, with the activity in-charge. The guidelines
and committee members are enclosed herewith.

4. All participants is expected to wear jeans/maong pants and shirt/polo shirt in their distinct
school district shades/colors during the entire celebration.
5. The procedure for the Raffle Draw will be the same as the previous year. Each DepEd
employee must write the following data on a piece of paper: Name, School, District, and
Signature and submit to the School Head. Paper size shall be 3 inches by 2 inches. All
School Heads shall take charge in the collection and shall submit to the District
Supervisors/Districts-In-Charge. PSDSs/DICs will then submit these to the Division Chief

of the Schools Governance and Operations Division, Dr. Rachel B. Picardal on December
15, 2015.
6. District Supervisors/ Districts-In-Charge of participating districts shall take charge of the
necessary arrangements for the transportation of their personnel from their station to
Dumaguete City and back.
7. The Recognition of Outstanding DepEd Employees will be simultaneous with the conduct
of Creative Games. All awardees will proceed directly to Bethel Guest House in the
morning of December 17, 2015.
8. All committee chairmen and members are requested to attend a coordination meeting on
December 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Division Conference Room.
9. Travelling and other expenses incurred during the participation in the activities shall be
charged against School MODE/ SEF/ PTA and other local funds subject to the usual
accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

GUIDELINES FOR THE DISTRICT PRESENTATIONS

1. 1. Each district must prepare a short presentation which must not exceed three (3) minutes.
2. Performers per district must not be less than 25 but not more than 50 participants which
may include teaching and non-teaching staff.
3. Districts have the liberty to decide on their own type of presentation and theme provided
that there will be no use of fire or other hazardous props or dangerous stunts.
4. To determine the order of presentation, drawing of lots will be done before the
Thanksgiving Mass among the PSDSs/DICs.
5. The criteria for the presentations are as follows:

Coordination & Harmony
Audience Impact

6. The judges will declare only the top three winners.
