Busy student retreat February 14-17

Make a big difference in your spiritual life this


Lent. Plan on participating in the Busy Student
Retreat February 14-17. The retreat only
requires a commitment of a half hour of prayer
and a half hour with one of our Spiritual
Directors each day of the retreat. Additional
spiritual activities will also be available. FREE and open to all
students, not just Catholics. Space limited to ~50 participants, so

Catechumen profiles

We want everyone in the UCC community to get to know those


who are going through RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
to become full members of the Catholic Church at Easter. Today
we profile Carlos Martinez and Giovanna Ababioh!
My name is Carlos Martinez, and Im a senior
in History at UT. I am originally from Fort
Worth, Texas, and Im the National Membership
Director for College Democrats of America. I
want to formally join the Catholic Church in
order to help develop my relationship with God.
Hi! Im Giovanna Ababioh. Born and raised in
Ghana, West Africa. Ive been in the US for about
five years now. Im a first year Chemistry major at
UT. Im glad that Im learning more about our
Catholic faith and belief through the RCIA
program. I cant wait to be fully Catholic!
