of love.

Time slides
a gentle ocean waves upon waves,
washing the shore,
loving the shore.

6. Brilliance
Darkness.
Then A pinprick light
it grows before you know it!
Starburst!
An explosion of the light
an explosion of delight
and it is happening
infinitely The festival of
pure creation.

7. Home
When everything
beneath my feet
becomes most calm
and stable, still ...
When all the sand
and rocks and molten lava
and the core itself
align to give me strength,
support and I can feel
this host,
the wisdom of the ages
rush and lift me then I am
at home.

8. Transformation
One by one,
the cells are moving,
giving birth and taking on
new forms, new shapes,
surprisingly they organise
themselves Is this a bird?
Is this a fish?
A human child in process of
becoming?
And so we watch all things
and wonder at unfoldment
and the everlasting
transformation.

Just when you thought
that winter
would be here forever,
that it could never end,
you saw:
Amidst the frozen white,
a tiny tip of green,
first blade of grass,
the messenger of spring.

10. Hope
Close your eyes.
Let yourself fall
backwards.
Then use the motion
stretch and dive
into the new.

A single thought,
a single grain of sand
that falls
and the sound it makes,
it ricochets across
the Universe.

Forward and out,
towards and through
burning away
the non-essential,
revealing
the core.

13. Wisdom
Sometimes,
the summer sun
sits so high in the sky
that there seems to be
no shadow.

14. Wealth
I put my hand
into
a cool river.
Spring fresh,
from the mountains
where this water
once was
snow and
ancient glacier ice.

Random raindrops
on the window pane.
Touch them with your finger tip but there's the barrier of glass.
You know that if you wanted
to become involved
you should be on
the other side.

A breath at a time,
a heartbeat Look!

Lightning strikes
a single tree.
It burns brightly,
furiously,
all night long
until at dawn,
the bright light
comes along
to help the seedlings
grow, no longer
shadow sheltered by their elder

upon its ash.

But being human,
being wrong,

walked and worked
with some embarrassment
beneath a radiant sky,
blue and cloudless in
perfection.

Imagine,
what you would perceive
if you opened
your eyes
for the very first time
and there
were no distinctions,
no directions
and you simply saw it all?

there is a shadow
of a branch outside.
It moves and it is dancing.
It writes its story

is living light.

Record each moment
of your life,
each feeling,
thought,
experience.
It is all data.
It is needed.

Awaken the colours

eternal stillness
bright blue skies
and all you hear
are gentle whispers

and unimportant.

In the garden of Eden,
the streams are full
of wondrous fish fantastic silver
streamlined rushing and
tiny multi-coloured jewels
dancing light.
But if you don't
feel up to fishing,
you might just pick
a tiny flower from the grass
that has the most remarkable

or simply tell the story
of what being here
was like for you
when you return
to bring the others
charge of life,
remembrances of home.

How soft is a wing,
how light is a feather?
Yet a pair of wings
will churn the air

to lift us

just falls away
and we find ourselves
in heaven's realms.

If you were an eagle,
you would soar majestically
on the spiral lifting
without effort, without doing more
than simply knowing it is there.
And you would see the land below
from small to far away
and you would
own it all.

We see a lantern

and stormy.

steadily and stealthily,
where are they going?
Let us follow
through shrub and forest
to an ancient temple
only they had known
that it was there.
There is the door.

now sparkles, vibrant, fresh
and all things are alive.
The air smells new
and you can't help but think
the distant mountains
are much closer now,
that you can touch them
with an outstretched fingertip.
