INTRODUCTION
Commentator: Good afternoon, brothers
and sisters in Christ, Anton and
Maika have invited us here
today
to
share
in
the
celebration of their marriage.
We come together not to mark
the start of a relationship, but
to recognize a bond that
already exists. This marriage is
one
expression
of
many
varieties of love and this is how
the couple will consummate
their love.
Let us then offer our thanks to
God for having led them
together in this love. Let us
pray that He may bless and
consecrate their commitment
to each other and that Anton
and Maika may freely and
lovingly take upon them the
task the Lord has entrusted to
them, to live for each other and
their children, their family,
their relatives and friends on
their road through life to God.
Amen.

A reading from the Holy
Gospel according to Matthew
5:1-12a
When Jesus saw the crowds, he
went up the mountain,
and after he had sat down, his
disciples came to him.
He began to teach them,
saying:
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the Kingdom of
heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger
and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
Celebrant:
This is my commandment:
love one another as I love you.
No one has greater love than
this, to lay down ones life for
ones friends. You are my
friends if you do what I
command you. I no longer call
you slaves, because a slave
does not know what his master
is doing I have called you
Yes, Father.
Celebrant:
Anton, did you come here
of your own free will to bind
yourself forever in the love and
service of your wife?
Anton:
Yes, Father.
Celebrant:
Are you both ready to
raise as good Christian the
children whom God will give
you?
Yes I do
Celebrant:
Do you give yourself to
him as his wife?
Maika:
Yes I do
Celebrant:
Do you accept him as
your lawful husband?
Maika:
Yes I do
Celebrant:
Anton, do you take Maika
here present, for your lawful
wife according to the rite of our
holy Mother the church?
Anton:
Yes I do
Celebrant:
Do you give yourself to
her as her husband?
Anton:
Yes I do
Celebrant:
Do you accept her as your
lawful wife?
Anton:
Yes I do
Celebrant:
Anton and Maika, pray
now that our Lord may bless
and bind you in marriage.
Anton & Maika:Grant us O Lord, to be one
heart and one soul, from this
day onward, to have and to
hold, to honor and to treasure,
for better and for worse, for
richer and for poorer, in
sickness and in health, until
death do us part. We place our
lives and ourselves together in
Your loving hands.
Celebrant:
Let us pray. Bless O Lord
your servants, Anton and
Maika, with sufficiency of
material possessions which
these arrhae symbolize so that
they may use them to attain
eternal life, through Christ our
Lord.
All:
Amen.
Celebrant:
Bless, O Lord, these rings
so that your servants, Anton
and Maika, who will wear them
may forever live in mutual love
and in unbroken loyalty. We ask
this through Christ our Lord.
All:
Amen.

You are indeed Holy, O
Lord, the fount of all holiness.
Make holy, therefore, these
gifts, we pray, by sending
down your Spirit upon them
like the dewfall, so that they
may become for us the Body
and + Blood of our Lord, Jesus
Christ.
At the time he was betrayed
and entered willingly into his
Passion, he took bread and,
giving thanks, broke it, and
gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU,
AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS
MY BODY,
WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP
FOR YOU.

Therefore,
as
we
celebrate the memorial of his
