INTRODUCTION
PANAMA
The first thing you should
know is that Panama has
only two seasons:
The dry season from
December to mid March,
and,
The wet, or "green",
season from mid March
to mid December.
U.S.A.
The 4 seasons of the year
are:
winter - December
Solstice to March Equinox.
AUTUMN IN U.S.A
Precipitation is usually greatest during the autumn
months when the hurricane season peaks, and
driest in the late winter and early spring. Puerto
Rico's mountainous terrain can produce
considerable local variations in temperature and
rainfall.
WINTER IN U.S.A
In winter, daily temperatures in the southwest are cooler with
highs in the 60s (15 -20 C) and lows in the 30s and 40s (0 - 10
C).
In winter, average daily high temperatures range from the 40F
(4C) (upper South: northern Arkansas, Kentucky and Virginia), to
the 60F (16C) along the Gulf Coast and South Atlantic coast
(Charleston southward), with 70F (21C) in central and southern
Florida and far southern Texas. Average daily lows in winter range
from 20F (7C) north to 40F (4C) along the Gulf and far
South Atlantic coasts, with 50F (10C) in Florida and coastal
south Texas.
CONCLUSION
In Panama The dry season usually has
its onset in mid-December. By this
time, strong winds known as "trade
winds" begin to blow, with little or no
Rainfall for many consecutive weeks.
Daytime temperatures rise slightly, but
nighttime temperatures remain around
22-23 C. The rainy season begins
around May 1, but may also vary by
one or two weeks, with the arrival of
rains, temperatures drop slightly during
the day, and the trade winds disappear.
