Everybody is curious by nature and looking for new
inspiration and enrichment of the mind.Therefore we
combined the special experiences and heritage of a city
neighbourhood with the luxury of a concierged boutique
apartment in characteristic buildings with a story. Yays
creates the conditions for our guests to unlock the hidden
treasures of that neighbourhood. In that sense we want to
give every guest the feeling to be a resident.

BICKERSGRACHT
If Amsterdam is more like a village than a city, then this holds
especially true for Bickerseiland, just northwest of Central
Station. Surrounded by canals and crossed with charming
narrow streets, Bickerseiland offers that unique piece of quiet
in a city storm. Stay on the island if youre looking to take it easy
or head south to the lively Haarlemmerdijk with its many cafes,
boutiques and restaurants and the markets on Noordermarkt,
Lindengracht and Westerstraat. Go west for a stroll or run in
Westerpark or east to discover the architecture and hidden
restaurants of the newly built Westerdok.

ZOUTKEETSGRACHT
Tucked away to the northwest of Central Station lies the
Zeeheldenbuurt. Named after great Dutch seafarers, this is
a part of town you wont find in many tourist guides. Not yet,
that is. Its a true residents neighbourhood with lots of local
restaurants and coffee shops. Watch the ships sail by on the
river IJ, jump on a bike and visit the monthly Sunday Market
in the nearby Westerpark or catch an art house movie in
Amsterdams oldest and oh so charming movie theatre
