ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Reactivity Engine for ATLAS Middleware


Developed ATLAS Reactivity Engine in Java as an OSGi service using Knopflerfish for programming pervasive spaces based
on Event-Condition-Action paradigm.
Mobile-based Personal Health Care System
Developed a mobile application – MotherCare, a Personal Health Assistant for pregnant women in J2ME using Apache Axis
2 based on client/proxy/server model. Web services were used to communicate with Google Health server.
P2P File Sharing Protocol
Implemented P2P file sharing protocol- BitTorrent in Java as a term project.
MIPS Simulator
Developed MIPS simulator in Java for 4-stage pipelined processor with cache and implemented score boarding.
Travelling Sales Person Algorithm
Implemented Traveling Sales Person problem in C++ and analyzed the performance in three different approaches -dynamic
programming, static and dynamic branch and bound.
Distributed Minimum Spanning Tree Algorithm
Implemented Distributed Minimum Spanning Tree in Java using Leader-Election Algorithm.
Prototype of Production Subsystem
Analyzed the production system of a garment manufacturer named ‘Quality Assured’ located in Dhaka, Bangladesh and
developed the Production Subsystem prototype using C# and SQL Server. A web based interface was also developed in
ASP.NET to manage online orders.
Paperless Store Management System
Designed and developed Paperless Store Management System in C# and Oracle 9i which efficiently manages Point of Sale
and provides separate modules for Inventory, Employee and Customers.
3D Scene Rendering
Developed a 3D scene rendering program using C++ and OpenGL based on Ray-Tracing techniques.
OSI Layers Implementation
Implemented Data Link Layer and Network Layer of the OSI Architecture in Java with a visual simulator.
