Program attendants were Mallory Murphy Bailey, Hannah Katherine
Finch, and Katherine Brooke
Henson. The bride's proxy was Kristen
Fountain Mason. Jackie Hughes Hart served as wedding
director.
The bride and groom exchanged vows before a candlelit altar. The
spectacular central arrangement
of white roses, white gladioli, white
hydrangeas, and greenery was flanked by two columns, which
held silver
vases filled with complementing arrangements.
Arriving in a silver Rolls Royce, the bride and groom enjoyed a
reception hosted by the bride's
parents at The Old Capitol Inn.
Guests dined on food from a variety of buffets. Food stations
were
decorated with massive arrangements of multicolored flowers placed on
antique pedestals.
Family and friends enjoyed an evening of dining and
dancing to the music of the Krackerjacks.
The bride's maternal great-grandmother's sterling silver
cake knife was used to cut the bride's fivetiered, rose-adorned
cake. The bridesmaid's bouquets were placed at the base of the
cake. The
groom's two-tiered square chocolate candied cake was
garnished with blackberries, raspberries,
and chocolate-covered
strawberries.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a
rehearsal dinner at The Old Capitol Inn.
The day preceding the wedding,
the bride and her bridesmaids were honored with a lovely brunch
at the
Fairview Inn.
After a wedding trip to Seaside, Florida, the couple is at home in
Madison.
