Following the formation of Quantum Consulting in February 2011, we have undertaken multiple
assignments, including claim document preparation for sub-contractors and main contractors, including
preparation for arbitration and / or adjudication where appropriate - examples are as follows:

AED 165m Contract to construct 4 nr government facilities

FIDIC Red book (1999) with amendments.
We were appointed out to carry out an Initial Claim Review Document in order to
assess the strength and weaknesses of submitting a full claim. The clients
documents were reviewed for entitlement, cause & effect and evaluation of heads
of claim with provisional values. The provisional claim value was AED 34m.

AED 8m specialist Sub-Contract to complete external render work.

Bespoke sub-contract back-to-back with Main Contract (NEC3 Engineering and
Construction Sub-Contract 2005).
Detailed commercial review of variations and evaluation of loss due to suspension
and termination and delays. The claim value was AED 1.7m.

2009-2011: Omikron LLC, Dubai, UAE Executive Consultant
I was appointed as a sub-consultant to assist in the preparation of a claim for arbitration purposes, totalling
approximately Dhs 100m. Disciplines undertaken included calculation of Loss of Productivity using industrystandard measured-mile procedures, calculation of financing charges and contributions towards head office
overhead, Loss of Opportunity, material escalation and extended bonds provision.

I was responsible for managing a 5 million sub-contract for the provision of cabling plus all associated civils

management/site team and subsequent agreement and negotiation of final account.

I was involved in projects that effected the provision of water borehole sites inc. design, installation,
commissioning of all civil works and M&E. The projects were procured using a target cost partnering
arrangement.

I was involved in a 6m partnering contract to construct waste sites & associated provisions, including
earthworks, drainage, roads, reinforced concrete walls & general civil works, procured within a cost-plus
partnering arrangement

Preparation and submission of Interim Valuations and Final Accounts, budgets and forecasts, and
management of Sub-Contractors, inc. preparation and submission of tenders.
