deflection magnetometer arranged in Tan A position. Take 6 sets of readings.

12. Plot the forward characteristics of a p-n junction diode and hence find the static resistance

and knee voltage of the diode.

13. Determine the resistance of the given coil of wire using potentiometer and hence find out

the resistivity of the material of the coil of wire.

14. Standardize the given grating using the green line ( = 546.1 nm) of mercury spectrum

and hence determine the wavelength of other prominent lines of the spectrum by

arranging the grating for normal incidence.

15. Find the frequency of the given vibrator by Meldes apparatus. Use both modes.

16. Study the variation of magnetic flux density along the axis of a circular coil carrying

current using circular coil apparatus.

17. Determine the resistance of the given wire using Carey Foster Bridge. Hence find out the

resistivity of its material.

14. Determine the refractive index of the material of a lens by liquid lens method, using a

liquid of known refractive index.

15. Determine the surface tension of the given liquid by capillary rise method. (Radius of the

capillary tube may be measured by using Vernier Microscope).

16. Construct a half wave rectifier using junction diode and measure the output with and

without capacitor filter. Determine the ripple factor in each case (Repeat for different

values of load resistors).

17. Find the rigidity modulus of the material of the given wire using Torsion Pendulum.
