Marketing is communicating the value of a product or service to customers, for the
purpose of selling that product or service.
Marketing techniques include choosing target markets through market analysis and
market segmentation, as well as understanding consumer behaviour and advertising a
product's value to the customer. From a societal point of view, marketing is the link
between a society's material requirements and its economic patterns of response.
Marketing satisfies these needs and wants through exchange processes and building longterm relationships. Marketing blends art and applied science (such as behavioural
sciences) and makes use of information technology.

effectively address the research problem; it constitutes the blueprint for the collection,
measurement, and analysis of data.
Descriptive research design is used in this project. It embraces a large portion of
Marketing Research. The purpose is to provide an accurate snapshot of some aspects of
the marketing environment.
Descriptive research can be either quantitative or qualitative. It can involve
collections of quantitative information that can be tabulated along a continuum in
numerical form, such as scores on a test or the number of times a person chooses to use acertain feature of a multimedia program, or it can describe categories of information such
as gender or patterns of interaction when using technology in a group situation.
Descriptive research involves gathering data that describe events and then organizes,
tabulates, depicts, and describes the data collection.
SOURCE AND TOOLS
In the following research both primary and secondary sources used will be
used i.e., employees, dealers, consumers and we are using the questionnaire method to
analyzing the data.
SAMPLING
A sample size refers to the number of items to be selected from the population to
constitute a sample.
75-100 respondents will be selected as samples for the survey.

South India. Their dealer network is throughout southern states and is expanding to all
