NOTES AND ABBREVIATIONS

Dates are abbreviated in the American way (month preceding day) or in the European way
(day preceding month). Thus the date of August 3, 1999 can be given as 8/3/99, as
03.08.99., as 3 8 1999, or as 3 8 99.
Hours: h00.30 is 30 minutes after midnight, h12.00 is noon, h20.00 is 8P.M., h24.00 is
midnight.
* Indicates that this party may already have been reported under a slightly different name.
We do not want to inflate casualties, neither do we want to ignore a dead or missing
person just because his name is similar to that of another victim. We hope that witnesses
and family members will come forward and help us clarify such reports.
NN Indicates that the victim is not Serb or Montenegrin , and that we might need help to
identify the nationality.

Prascevic Slobodan, 1945, retired policeman from Djakovica, shot from ambush while driving in
Donji Ratis, 2 3 1998. Albanian passenger Tahiraj Iqbala sustained severe injuries. W

Boskovic Pero, 1951, from Krusevac, detained and severely beaten in Krusevac, Pec, 2 3 1998. W
Boskovic Bosko, 1978, from Krusevac, detained and severely beaten in Krusevac, Pec, 2 3 1998. W
Koncarevic Andreas, killed 5-7 March 1998 at the Jasari family compound in the village of Donje
Prekaze, Srbica . Asked to surrender, 30 people left the Jashari quarter. The quarter was then attacked,
and fifty-one Albanians who had remained within perished in the police attack. Policemen Koncarevic
and Radakovic were killed, and eight other officers were severely injured.
Radakovic Rade, 1961, killed on 5 March, 1998 at Jasari compound in the village of Donje Prekaze,
Srbica. Asked to surrender, 30 people left the Jashari quarter. The quarter was then attacked, and fiftyone Albanians who had remained within perished in the police attack. Policemen Koncarevic and
Radakovic were killed, and eight other officers were severely injured.

Maslovaric Steva, attacked in his Erac, Djakovica house with small arms fire, 28 2 1998, 10PM. No

Blagojevic Ivica, attacked in his Ljubozda, Istok house with small arms fire, 6 3 1998, 8PM. No injuries.

Milinko Bogoslav, Bibovic Miroje, and Fatic Milun, attacked in their Crljane, Djakovica house with small
arms fire, 10 3 1998, 8 PM. Serbs returned fire. No injuries. W
Riza Taci (1931) was seriously wounded on 5th March at about 16.00 at Brocna village, Srbica
Municipality, when six uniformed men entered into his yard and shot him in the right leg. SU
Hoti Ajeta, F, 1933 and Hajdini Selja, F, 1948, Albanians, walking on the road in Brocna, Srbica, tripped
a string which set off a handgrenade, on 11 3 1998, at 5 AM. Both suffered minor injuries. W
Delic Petar, attacked in his Ljug Bunar, Djakovica house with small arms fire, 12 3 1998, 11 PM. No
injuries. W
Camaj Jusuf, Albanian, attacked in his Novo Selo, Pec store with small arms fire, 3 12 1998, 8 AM. No

22.00h on April 1, 1998, beaten with rifle butts, and driven away. He was executed on April 5, 1998.
Body found on April 6, 1998. W
Avduljaj Bajram, 1947, Albanian, truck driver, from Zabrdje, Klina, arrested at his home at 22.00h on
April 1, 1998, beaten with rifle butts, and driven away. He was executed on April 5, 1998. Body found on

Zogaj Ibrahim, 1940, Albanian, from Zabrdje, Klina, lumber yard worker, arrested with his two sons at
his home at 22.00h on April 2, 1998, beaten with rifle butts, and driven away in a van with Swiss plates.
Suffered arm fractures. He was executed on April 5, 1998. Body found on April 6, 1998. W

Rustemaj Gani, Albanian, from Skivljane, Djakovica, detained and beaten. Car was confiscated, 17 4

Stojanovic Dragoslav, expelled from his village of Dubrava, Decani for being Serb, went back to his
house with brother Mijat, presumably to pick up something. He was captured, severely beaten with rifle
butts, taken to Glodjane for interrogation, released after seven hours, 18 4 1998. Brother sustained light
injuries.W
Fatic Zoran, attacked with small arms fire at his house in Crmljan, Diakovica, h20.00, 21 4 1998. No

Radosevic Stanisa and four other Serbs from Ljumbarda, Decani, deetained on the road, taken to

1998. With his sons Nazmija and Naim he managed to surprise and capture two armed visitors. W

have been wounded in error, during shoot-out with police. W
Basot Nazir, 1959, Albanian (?), shot in front of his house in Bogovac, Klina, at h 05.00, 5 5 1998. His
brother Arif evaded killers.W

Jaredic Nenad, 1970, mailman in Dobra Voda, Klina, captured and executed 5 5 1998. Body found in

Cvetkovic Alexandar, 1920, and his wife Miladija, visited by armed men at their house in Lugadije,
Djakovica, on 5 5 1998, They were ordered to abandon their house, under penalty of "liquidation." They
complied. W
Salja Smalja, 1958, Albanian, from Vranovac, Pec, shot and seriously wounded on the Bucan-Vranovci
road, at h24.00, 5 5 1998. W
Babaloc Refugee Camp in Decani came under attack 6 5 1998. Police fired back. No casualties. W
Ivaz Darko , born in 1964, reserve policeman, wounded on 6 May 1998 near the bus terminal at
Kosovska Mitrovica. Died on 5 June at the Medical Military Academy (MMA) in Belgrade.

Pnisi Nedjat, 1972, shot at store in Catholic Albanian village of Smac, Djakovica, 20 5 1998. Three men
entered store, and according to witnesses said, "You Catholics are drinking and enjoying yourselves
and we have to fight for you." Then they robbed people in the store and opened fire.Villagers had
previously been threatened for not joining the KLA insurrection. W

Prizren Secondary School Dormitory, where refugees from Bosnia are housed, attacked with automatic

Sope Muhamad, 1959, Roma from Prizren, found shot with hands tied behind his back on the road
between Stimlje and Suva Reka, 22 5 1998. His car and a friend, Aslam Klecka, 1947, from Orahovac

the way from the bus station, walking along with two Serb women met on the bus, they had all been
been arrested. She said that since she was a Moslem her jailers had promised to free her on March 15.
On March 13 Kumrija again called her sister. No information is available about her fate or the name of
the Serb women disappeared with her.
