supply chain reporting to manage field engineers repair jobs for EMC storage hardware at

to determine reporting requirements which were delivered via an Executive Dashboard
Business Intelligence application (using Kimball Star Schema methods) which integrated
results from Servigistics with data from Oracle ERP 11i and Oracle CRM 11i. CA Erwin was
the database design tool.
Created star schema database design, source to target mappings, ETL Process flow
diagrams, reporting specifications and metadata layer definitions, and database scripts
which included indexing, tablespace creation, and physical storage allocation.. The
application was delivered on Oracle 11g, ETL was developed using Informatica Power Mart,

application (using Kimball Star Schema methods) which is used to monitor the risks of the
bank, especially relating to assessing the creditworthiness of financial counterparties. State
Street bank has over $200 billion assets under management. Provided measurement on
detailed and aggregated exposures, data quality metrics, market risk, regulatory and
analytic capital amounts, and counterparty ratings for 14 categories of equity, fixed income
and derivative products. Involved understanding sophisticated risk analytic models
(including Value At Risk models) and capturing and presenting this information in an
optimized dimensional data warehouse model.
Performed gap analysis against IBM M1 metadata model for financial services. The
application was delivered in Oracle 10g with 75 tables, and included physical optimizations
such as allocation across tablespaces, partitioning strategy, and index optimization. CA
Erwin was the database design tool. ETL was performed by Data Stage and Cognos was the
reporting tool. It was integrated with a Siperian-based Master Data Management (MDM) hub
which utilized a service-oriented architecture (SOA) and canonical data models for

Electric Insurance company has more than $800 million dollars in Assets. Primary focus was on
supporting accounting and financial planning subject areas plus foundational elements which
supported all subject areas. Model included structures to support equity, fixed income and
derivative products. Developed strategies for ETL, Business Intelligence Reporting (using Kimball
Star Schema methods), Customer Data Integration, Audit and Control, and Legacy Migration.CA

progress of business initiatives such as disease management, feeds to external vendors, EDI
transactions, and regulatory compliance. Created data warehouse design, determined metadata

loosely coupled message architecture with external data providers in a services-oriented

Designed Healthy Directions, a 75 table reporting and analytics tool (using Kimball Star
Schema methods) which supports an enterprise personal health initiative at Pfizer. Created a
data integration architecture and dimensional data mart design to collect reporting metrics
from health care management vendors. The application enabled key executives to monitor
the effectiveness of a program of health care initiatives with timely reporting and drill down
capabilities, and provided an integrated means of accessing key transactional and reporting
data repositories. Created data warehouse design, designed ETL architecture, defined
reporting architecture, wrote functional specifications, and managed a ten member
development team, and hired key talent. The application was developed using BEA Web
Logic, Siebel Analytics (OBIEE by Oracle), and Informatica Power Mart and deployed on an
Oracle 9i database. Worked with senior Pfizer business executives and IS management and
technical staff from the vendor companies. CA Erwin was the database design tool for all
initiatives at NetNumina.
Designed the USP Dashboard, a 100 table Business Intelligence application (using Kimball
Star Schema methods) for senior executives of Pfizer. Performed data warehouse modeling
and database design tasks, wrote functional specifications, maintained relationships with
key Pfizer personnel and managed eight member development team. The Dashboard
provided key insight into the effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns, and used ETL
processes to incorporate many different data feeds, including several retail data sources.
Later versions used Web Services in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).The application
was developed using BEA Web Logic and Liquid Data and deployed on an Oracle 9i database

Designed XTAM, a 30 table rules-bases workflow management application which had the
responsibility for organizing membership and roles for internal Pfizer teams. Created system
architecture diagrams, designed databases, created use cases, and managed six member
development team. The application was developed using BEA Web Logic and deployed on an
Oracle 9i database using Web Services in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). Worked with

Created initial design for the Management Information 75 table data warehouse application (using
Kimball Star Schema methods) using Embarcadero ERStudio and Informatica Power Mart in an
Oracle 9i environment using Web Services in a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), referencing
the ACORD standard. Created functional specifications, business dimension documents, star
schema database design and a detailed source to target mapping. Application was distributed using

Designed the Data Stewardship Database, a 50 table data Master Data Management (MDM)
hub application to process and distribute cleansed Master Data throughout the enterprise.
Used Information Builders Iway ETL tool to capture VSAM data stores and receive enhanced
customer data from Acxiom. Database used was DB2/MVS and performed analysis of copy
books and documentation to design mainframe feeds. Citizens has over $100 billion Assets

Performed build or buy analysis, vendor evaluation, and architectural advice for a CRMoriented enterprise ETL application, including work with the Informatica Power Mart
application.
Advised client on strategic information technology issues as they migrated from a
mainframe environment to a distributed application architecture using messaging and
middleware. Made recommendations and evaluated vendor options for an Enterprise ODS
with a single sign-on LDAP Directory Service to link legacy and relational applications, to be
delivered on a DB/2/MVS platform and with XML messaging on an IBM MQ Series in a
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) with a Business Rules Engine. Reported to CIO and VP

Used CA Erwin to design PPT, Citizens EAI-enabling data repository consisting of 50 tables,
implemented through an IBM MQ Series messaging bus which provided linkages to several

systems application Portfolio Construction, which is responsible for managing the fixed income,
equity and derivatives positions on all of Putnams $100 billion Assets Under Management. Worked
with Vice President of Trading Systems, outside software vendors and downstream business users
to provide real-time distributed order generation and trading capabilities on a Reuters Kondor
platform using XML Messaging and FIX Exchange Protocol in a TIBCO Rendezvous environment.
This publish and subscribe messaging bus involved communications with the Eagle PACE Portfolio
Security Master, the Latent Zero Sentinel Compliance application, and a Data Warehouse (using
Kimball Star Schema methods) which provided analysis of trading costs. Used Oracle 9i Advanced
Queues to provide STP (Straight-Through Processing) with downstream systems such as fund
accounting and trade repositories.
One To One Interactive

Assessed the data and information architectures of various State Street Bank and Trusts
information systems and their suitability for inclusion in a global 50 table Customer Information File

factors in a CRM system which were causing hundreds of hours of lost factory time annually with
