Solar Parks in India

We are developing Solar Power Plant and Solar Parks in India in states with plenty of low cost barren land and
high level of Solar Insolation. Our solar parks offer prospective clients world class facilities and ready to use
infrastructure, such as boundary-wall, approach roads and pooling substation for developing solar power
plants in India of any capacity from 1 MW onwards. Since the land and requisite infrastructure is already in
place, it reduces time and effort required to setup your solar project.

Corporates / Individuals can develop Projects under following policies:

NVVN Policy Under JNNSM

State Policies

REC Mechanism
o

REC with Electricity Component Price

REC with Third Party Component Price

Depreciation Benefits Projects

Any other Suitable Policy

Numerous Problems are faced by Solar Power Plants In India in development stage solution to which
lies in Park Concept in which Solar Power Plant Company join hands.

Benefits for the Investor/Developer in addition to other operational benefits:

Clear title land with ready to move & start facility available.

Proper North-South oriented plots to be allotted so as to reduce land wastage, which are ideal for
solar power plant design.

Reduction in time to both start and execute the project.

No ROW (right of way) issue will be there for laying of transmission line, which will be done only
once and common to all.

Ease of work execution and management will be there.

Relief from local issues which again will result into time and money saving in project execution.

Distance of Substation is just 2 km, which means reduced transmission losses which increases as
the increment in this distance.

Individual metering at pooling substation for ease of billing.

Security, Maintenance of approach roads & transmission line etc. will be done on periodic basis.

Common weather station and bore well is to be set up on cost pool basis.

Grid down time is also minimum for 132/33 KV sub-station, which means higher revenue generation
in India.

1. ENRICH
1.1 Mandrup, Mahrashtra - 25 MW
The project is a 25 MW Grid-connected Solar PV Power Plant. The purpose of the project is to generate
electricity from Solar Energy through internationally and nationally accepted and proven Photovoltaic
Crystalline & Thin Film technology; this along with electricity's subsequent supply to regional grid with an
objective to sell the power generated. The power generated shall be sold to Third Party Consumers or shall be
self consumed / captive under Open Access Policy of Maharashtra State or to the state utility.
Enrich is the end-to-end turnkey provider for Solar PV Power Project, from conceptualizing, to commissioning
and maintaining the life of the project in its entirety - it offers valued assistance during the development of the
project on a turnkey basis.
The proposed project will be eligible for Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) benefit as per Central Electricity
Regulatory Commission (CERC) policy. The trade of REC will enable the project to achieve better revenue.
The project site is situated at village Mandrup, Taluka South Solapur, district Solapur in state of Maharashtra.
Being in the western region of India, Maharashtra has been found to experience the best irradiation in India, a
climatic criterion that adds to successful power generation from a plant based on PV crystalline technology.
Besides this, the wasteland availability of the state makes it a favourable place for setting up Renewable
Energy power projects demanding huge land masses. Apart from facts mentioned above, this will be amongst
the first phase of large scale solar PV grid connected projects to come up in India.
The land for the proposed 25 MW Solar PV Project has been acquired with Gird-Connectivity Permission from
the Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL). The power generated from the
project will be fed to 132/33 KV Mandrup Substation.

2. RAYS EXPERTS
2.1 Kolayat, Rajasthan 25 MW
Rays Solar Park Kolayat is a special park. It was the first of its kind model in the solar industry in India right
after the JNNSM was commissioned by the government. RaysExperts were the first promoters of this concept
in India & inspired other developers to adopt similar approach.
The solar paark is spun across 130 acres and has a total capacity of 25 MWs. More than 15 developers from
Rajasthan & Gujarat have invested in the park and by the end of 2016 - all of them would have recovered the
investment.

2.2 Gajner, Rajasthan 60 MW

Rays Solar Park Facility at Gajner is one of the largest solar parks of its kind in India. More than thirty
developers from different parts of India and overseas have invested under one roof. RaysExperts built Gajner
solar park after the huge success of our Kolayat facilty in the past.
To the surprise of developers, nearly 60MW projects were conceptualized & commissioned in a record time of
14 months. This solar park operates at high PLF rates.
Our Gajner Solar Park facility stands for quality bechmarking & professionalism approach towards completion
of the project, leading to minimum project time.

2.3 Baap, Rajasthan 10 MW

We are also the owners of India's one of the smallest profitable MW scale solar power plants. It has atotal
capacity of 10MW and houses projects from 3 different developers. The solar park being small s more efficient
in maintenance, regulation and audits.
It is one of the highest efficiency power plants of the country that produces more than 20 Million units of
electricity - enough to power 200 homes for all round the year.It was completed and commissioned in a record
time of 6 months. Currently, it is operating on its full capacity.

Investment Model For Solar Parks

Rajasthan Solar Park: In Rajasthan, we are offering you a PPA @ Rs.2.90 per unit (APPC price) with
escalation of 5% per annum plus the REC benefits or A fixed PPA of Rs 6.45 with Rajasthan govt. for
25 years (depends upon the availability).
Andhra Pradesh Solar Park: In Andhra Pradesh, we are offering you four different business models:
a. Third Party PPA + REC benefits: In this model, we will offer you a PPA of Rs.5.25 - 5.75 per
unit with escalation linked with industrial rate per annum plus the REC benefits.
b. APPC + REC benefits: In this model, we will offer you a PPA of Rs.3.45 per unit with
Andhra Pradesh state Discom at escalation at actual per annum plus the REC benefits.
c. PPA with Andhra Pradesh Government: The Andhra Pradesh Government is offering a
fixed PPA of Rs.6.49 per unit for 20 years but the window for the project is very small and
we need to move quick if we are willing to bid for the project as the scheme is expected to
close by the end of mid April 2014.
Madhya Pradesh Solar Park: In Madhya Pradesh, we are offering you a third party PPA at Rs 4
4.50 per unit with escalation linked with industrial tariffs every year plus the REC benefits.
RESCO Model (Solar Rental): Rays Power Infra is having identified rooftop in Jodhpur District
wherein a solar power plant of capacity 200 KW can be installed with a PPA of Rs.6.00 per unit with
industrial escalation per annum. Also, Rays Power Infra identifies rooftops for potential investors in
different parts of the country and takes rooftops on rent from industries and other rooftop owners to
provide win-win business models for investors and roof top owners.
Renewable Energy Certificate (REC): These are certificates which a solar power plant developer
acquires from the government on generation of solar power from the solar power plant. These
certificates are traded on the power exchanges in a price band of Rs.9.30 per unit - Rs.13.40 per
unit. As of now, the RECs are not trading up to their full potential at power exchanges. The RECs are
getting traded at 30% in a financial year making the cumulative realization of Rs.2.79 per unit.
