ORDER
As required under the provisions of the Mahatma Gandhi
National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2015, and also the
provisions of Andhra Pradesh Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme
(APREGS), the Government vide the reference second read above
constituted the Andhra Pradesh State Employment Guarantee
Council (APSEGC) for the purpose of regular monitoring and
reviewing the implementation of this Act at the State level.
2. The MGNREG Act stipulates that the APSEGC shall have not
more than 15 non-official members nominated by the State
Government from Panchayat Raj Institutions, organizations of
workers and disadvantaged groups. Accordingly, the Council has
been constituted by Government vide the reference fourth read
above, and whole term has expired.
3. Vide the reference fifth read above, the Commissioner, Panchayat
Raj & Rural Development has submitted a proposal to constitute a
new Council, seeking Government orders, duly indicating different
categories of members for Andhra Pradesh State Employment
Guarantee Council.
4. Government, after careful examination of the matter hereby
constitute the new Andhra Pradesh State Employment Guarantee
Council as follows with the same terms and conditions stipulated in
the references first and second read above.
