The role of effort, aspiration and destiny in

success
The psyche of a man is determined by the line he draws from his ambitions to his destiny. While
one may think that his efforts are sole creator of the line, his hopes, or aspirations, help him keep it as
straight as possible. Referring to Sigmund Freuds work on psychoanalysis, id, here controls the
aspirations of a person, being the instinctive in nature. The super-ego, playing its moralizing role, lays
down the destiny plan of a person. The more realistic ego at the same time is in charge of venturing into
the mans hopes keeping in mind of his destiny.
Most men estimate their capabilities by what they have done or are planning to do later in time.
Thus, we can conclude that a man is a creature of extrapolation. This metaphysical evaluation of man is
purely based on his instinct to socialize. These continuous surveys and their constant comparison with
his immediate surroundings gives him his momentum to move forward. This is the sole product of his
hope. The effort as it is, is a rock perfectly balanced on a cliff. Desire pushes it down the abyss. Hope is
also of great mythological reference according to the Greeks. Hope is allegorized as the last of the
Creatures of Adversity to leave Pandoras Box. This signifies that the ancient Greeks considered Hope to
be both an apostle of success as well as the harbinger of grief.
Destiny at the same time is visualized as the Ouroboros, or the serpent that eats its own tail. It is
not often defined as a serendipity of events, but as the loop from which none can escape irrespective of
the choice of paths. Although men frequently seem to attribute the formulation of destiny to superphysical forces, its triangular relationship between the effort and hope cannot be suppressed. This leads
to a feeling of certainty, and helps in formation of the unique, distinct characteristics of a man. This in
turn ushers the creative talent in the individual and leads to further success in his life. But, there is also
an ill effect. Once a feeling of submissiveness sets in, the individual is found to lose motivation and often
concludes and comforts himself in the state of rest.
The presence of these in the solid dimension is felt solely with the attempt. The emphatic mind
of the man could lay plans to conquer the multiverse. But, unless the command is given and followed
the plan remains to be just electric disturbances in the occipital lobe, a vivid superposition of the theta
waves. This the reason a man is able to tread the path that lies between his aspirations and his destiny.
There is also a serious error that lack of motivation and aim can cause. Greek mythology describes the
execution of Sisiphus, once king of Ephyra, to be an example of aimless efforts. Sisiphus punished for his
aimless actions, in which he repeatedly rolls up boulders of colossal size to the top of a hill only to watch
it tumbling back down. Guided properly, efforts can be the forerunner of changes in the civilization,
while excess of it with the lack of desideratum crosses the line of insanity.
