Vodafone Mailbox is the intelligent mailbox service for your mobile phone. If you are a Vodafone GmbH customer,
you benefit from the many practical features of Vodafone Mailbox. It is automatically available to you after your
Vodafone card is activated. If you should need even more mailbox power, then simply book the Vodafone
ProfiMailbox1. It has an even greater storage capacity for long messages and faxes. In addition, it can send
important messages as quick as a flash in voicemail form to almost all telephone accesses within Germany and a
wake-up call will remind you of important appointments. It is the perfect partner when you have to manage a
large volume of calls. Here are its benefits at a glance:

No calls missed: The mailboxes take your calls when you are unable to do so yourself.
Answers calls individually and personally: Just like any answering machine, you can record a personal
greeting.
Automatically informs you of new calls: Mailbox/ProfiMailbox answers your calls as soon as it receives a
new message, fax1 or email. By text message or notification call directly to your Vodafone card. Immediately
and within Germany free of charge.

Also informs you when no message was left: Even when a caller leaves no message, the mailbox will send
you a text message on request. The text message contains the call number, date and time of the missed call.
Of course you will only receive the message if the missed call was not indicated on your mobile phone
display. This all depends on whether the caller left his call number when the mailbox received the call (call
number transfer feature on).
Date and time announcement: Before listening to your messages, you can select whether you want the
time and date announced when the message was left.
Returns call after listening: With the Vodafone CallReturn1 feature, you can call the caller back from the
Vodafone Mailbox directly after listening to his/her message - simply by pressing a button.
Receives and sends mobile emails: With Vodafone Mailboxes you can book a mobile email address.1 You
can read received emails directly on your mobile phone and speak or send new emails from your mobile

Receives faxes on the move:1 Both Vodafone Mailbox and ProfiMailbox can receive faxes. You can print
them anywhere there is a fax machine if your mobile phone has network reception.
Notification on your landline number:1 Use the Message Manager on your Vodafone Mailbox to enter
additional call numbers: one additional number with Vodafone Mailbox and up to three additional numbers
with Vodafone ProfiMailbox. You are then informed about new incoming mailbox messages at these numbers
and you can listen to the messages without a mailbox password.
Your Vodafone Mailbox becomes an answering machine for all registered numbers: Your intelligent
answering machine can take calls to the additionally registered call numbers and send notifications to your
mobile phone. Requirement: just enter a call forwarding number in your Vodafone Mailbox.
No connection price or basic price for Vodafone Mailbox.

With Vodafone ProfiMailbox you also benefit from additional professional features:1

Send notifications by voicemail: In addition, ProfiMailbox comprises a clever messaging and information
system with which you can send voicemails to any number of call numbers. On request, you can even send
messages to several recipients simultaneously, with a time delay, or to recipient lists and with various sender
messages.
Announcement for long periods of absence: Blocks your Vodafone ProfiMailbox from receiving new
messages. Callers only hear the announcement. Ideal when you are going on holiday, for example.
Wake-up call free of charge within Germany: Simply specify the date, time and the required call number in
the German network. Your Vodafone ProfiMailbox will then call, remind or wake you at the right place at the
right time.
Extended fax features: For example, you can store a standard fax number for your personal fax machine. On
request, you can also have received faxes automatically printed out on your personal fax machine.

Vodafone Visual Mailbox: With the Vodafone Visual Mailbox you can also send mailbox messages in the form of
an MMS with voice file to your mobile phone. For example, you can have the recorded messages read out directly

How to book Vodafone Mailboxes

The Vodafone Mailbox is automatically available to all Vodafone GmbH customers after activation of the
Vodafone card and you need not book it separately. You can immediately reach them on abbreviated dialling
number 5500 to set them up.
To book the Vodafone ProfiMailbox, simply call Customer Service and ask them to set up your Vodafone
ProfiMailbox. If you are a Vodafone customer, you can contact Customer Service free of charge in the German
Vodafone network on 1212. From other German networks, dial 0800/172 1212.
