A) CAREER INFORMATION SESSION AND DINNER

We invite you to apply to attend a presentation followed by a poolside dinner at The
Westin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, on Friday, July 9, 2010 (time to be confirmed). You will
have the opportunity to meet some consultants from our Kuala Lumpur Office and network
with other top students from leading universities throughout Malaysia.
As part of the event, we will share with you about what management consulting is, and
help you learn about an exciting career at McKinsey. We will also have a coaching session
on resume writing – discover what the world’s top companies really look for in résumés
and how you can impress them.
This is an exclusive event and we will consider only candidates (in any year of their
course of study, undergraduate and graduate) who have achieved, or expect to achieve,
a distinction or high distinction, or those with GPA of 3.70 and above.

B) YOUTH LEADERSHIP ACADEMY (YLA)

In addition to our recruiting efforts, we are also pleased to announce the second year of our
Youth Leadership Academy (YLA)
The YLA is dedicated to nurturing and building capabilities of future young leaders. As a
participant, you will have the opportunity to improve your leadership skills and form
mentoring relationships with our office colleagues, as well as young professionals and
senior business leaders.
The programme consists of a structured set of 3 full-day workshops led by faculty from our
Kuala Lumpur office, with proprietary curriculum addressing three major themes: leading
self, leading others, and leading Malaysia. We will be engaging mentors from a select pool
of young professionals and successful leaders of Malaysian companies to guide you along
your journey of self-discovery. The lessons you learn at YLA will be applicable to a
multitude of individual leadership opportunities in academic, extra-curricular, or other
personal activities.
This programme is open to undergraduates of all years. You should note that a core part
of our programme will be conducted over the months of July-September. Early outreach to
interested participants via recruiting roadshows and your university’s career guidance
office will be scheduled during April, with the application process opening in May this
year.
