2016 is Heresy

If interested in the correct Calendar please consider these references quoted below. In speaking
of Tsar Peter I, the following book explains how he wrongly changed the good old Byzantine
Christian calendar that was based upon the Septuagint.
Russia on the Eve of Modernity, on page 71:
The Sredniki (Wednesdayers) illustrate the disorientation evoked by Peters calendar reforms.
The Old Belief as a whole thought that Peter had stolen eight years from God when he
subtracted 5508, and not 5500, from the year since the creation to derive the Anno Domini.
Numbering was connected with several grave issues, including the Easter cycle, and, more
important, predictions of the end of the world. If Peter were the Antichrist and could obscure
the real date, he could delude the faithful and lower their guard. The Sredniki took this
suspicion even further, and concluded that Peter (or, in another variant, Nikon) had shifted the
days of the week, and that which the majority considered to be Wednesday was in fact Sunday.
Therefore everyones cycle of fasts, holidays, and above all Sunday services was hopelessly
and fatally off.

The steps, in time progression, when the Byzantine Christian calendar was forsaken:
1) The Byzantine Empire in 1453
2) Kievan Rus and Russia in 1700
3) The Ecumenical Patriarchate in 1728

The Holy Prophet Daniel condemns the changing of signs and seasons in chapter 7, verse 25.
The corruption of the calendar in the Orthodox Church goes back further than a lot of us might
have thought. Many who claim they are on the Old Calendar are actually very New Calendar.
We have all been lied to our entire lives. It is encouraging to learn that long ago there were
some of these good outcries when things began going downhill so fast.
On the civil calendar so many people follow today, at sundown Wednesday the 6th of April,
2016, it will be the start of the Christian Calendar and the Year of Our Lord 2025, not 2016.
This coincides with the First Day of Creation and the Annunciation of the Most Holy Mother
of God and Ever-Virgin Mary (aka the Conception of Christ) on the true old Christian calendar.
This should also be important for those who see that life begins at conception.
Most people really do not even know what time it is, this is a most serious matter.

With 2016 as the year date, then Christ was not crucified under Pontius Pilate. This is a
contradiction of the Creed and is heresy. Several factors must be considered, one is how the
Latins changed the Greek books. Ecumenical Council originally says there were 5500 years
from Adam to Christ. The Latins errantly changed this to 5508 at the Council of Florence.
With a vengeance this pernicious heresy took hold of Orthodox ideology. When Russia learned
of it the idea was immediately cursed as heresy. A couple centuries later the false calendar
dating reared its head again in Russia, at Moscows 1666 Council. The Latin discrepancy was
made official in Russia by Peter the Great. He ordered the New Year to be changed.
Peter instituted at least 3 divergences from Orthodox chronology, which is a terribly divisive
and monstrously disturbing act. It is a very complex mess. If we sign or date, or accept
anything with the common false year, not only do we lie about Christ being crucified under
Pontius Pilate, but Daniels prophecy about the 70 weeks is also confused. The modern
calendar contradicts scripture and is worse than a double-heresy. I have not signed or dated
anything for many years, correcting and rebuking all those antichrist ideas. It is an affront on
the proper doctrine of the Incarnation, as well as causing confusion with the protective
apocalyptic prophecies. There are other ways that Orthodox have accepted calendar change.
The Entry of the Slavs Into Christendom by A.P. Vlasto
On page xi of the Preface it is explained how many given year dates are unreliable due to
erroneous evidence. For the first millennia of Christianity chronological reckoning from the
birth of Christ was mostly in the West. While the system in Orthodox lands, used by
prominent Byzantine historians till the 10th century, and which is more ancient, noted 5,500
years from the creation of Adam to Christ, then so forth.

I was helped greatly in my understanding of this by our forest sister Agafia, who is my adopted
mother and the appointed Timekeeper of her isolated family. As one of the most isolated people
from modern society her family managed to alone keep at least part of the old calendar. If we
look 7 or 8 minutes into this linked video she makes the point about the year of our Lord.
