Director of Golf Course Grounds February 2014-Present
The Peninsula Club boasts an 18-hole championship course designed by Rees Jones, one of the countrys leading golf course
architects. The classic layout blends into the natural terrain, sixteen holes feature lake views with many playing over or along
the water. It has hosted LPGA events, USGA events, and AJGA events.

Manage annual operating budget of $1.25 million and an equipment fleet of $1 million
Manage 165 acres of golf course, 11 acre practice facility and 1 acre of clubhouse, tennis, and fitness center grounds
Golf course conditioning aided in improving golf rounds by 11% from 2013 to 2015
Developed a short and long term Master Plan for the golf course and practice facility with Rees Jones, Inc.
Implemented Phase 1 of the Master plan including the installation of 3,000 linear feet of 12-14 inch HDPE mainline
irrigation, new irrigation pump station, removal and replacement of 2,000 linear feet of wooden bulkheads with a boulder
stack wall and coordinated permitting from 15 government agencies
Hosted USGA Ultradwarf Putting Green Surface Management Workshop on how to produce superior putting greens
through various cultural management techniques and data recording
Instituted a tree care program including removal and maintenance to increase playability, safety, turfgrass health and
improve desired specimens
Planned and implemented Phases 1 and 2 of an $85,000 golf course maintenance facility renovation
Created and maintain an Agronomic Blog and Golf Course Maintenance Twitter Feed to increase member communication
with up to date material in conjunction with monthly communication and annual meeting/town hall presentations
Generated a Golf Course Maintenance Employee Handbook and Safety Training Manual and Prevention Program

Assisted the developing, presenting and implementation of a $7.4 million Renovation Master Plan
Experience in construction of greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, HDPE and PVC Irrigation install, storm water management
infrastructure installation, underground drainage systems, earthwork shaping and contouring, golf hole layout and staking,
infrastructure demolition, and erosion control during The Ford Plantation $7.4 Million Renovation Project
Responsible for annual budget preparation of a $1.31.5 million budget operation and monthly tracking of expenses
Winter overseeding experience
Oversaw all aspects of staff management including recruiting, hiring, development and safety education
Responsible for being on course agronomist, which included conducting numerous research trials, organized irrigation
water and soil sampling, analyzed results, wrote a bi-weekly agronomic report and made recommendations to maximize

Created Golf Maintenance Department Handbook that incorporated HAZCOM training, equipment training, safety
training and a variety of standard operating procedures
