PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
Using a strong entrepreneurial spirit. I opened Omicron Electronic, Inc. in 1984.
The mission statement for Omicron was to function as:
• A distributor of Photo & video accessories
• The North American sales agent for two Taiwan manufacturers
• To sell, on an O.E.M. basis, to large accounts
• To help develop and bring to market new products.
I functioned successfully as Sales Manager, hiring and training a national sales
force. I designed packaging for new products and secured their printing. I set up
Our shipping dept. and dealt, personally , with Custom brokers for import &
export.
SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS;
Helped Taiwan manufacturer, Year By Year Inc., to develop and market Small
Sealed Lead-Acid Batteries for the Camcorder and cell phone markets.
Sold batteries and chargers, on an O.E.M. basis, to RCA, Eveready and Tandy
Corp.(Radio Shack).
Purchased and began the re-introduction of the Tiltall Tripod line to the world
market, selling to retailers and distributors, both foreign and domestic.
Lead training seminars to buyer groups on a local level, as well as on the national
level at Trade Shows, such as, Consumer Electronics Show (C.E.S.) and the
Electronics Distributor Show (E.D.S.).

One final word. I closed Omicron in order to retire. It was a big mistake. I AM
A salesman, one of the best, and I need to sell to feel fulfilled. I know that this is
not a proper entry for a resume, However, I wanted to let you know that I would be
a great asset to your company in any sales capacity.
